Every few years, a casino game comes along that changes what players expect. Crash did it. Plinko did it. Fearshot: Phantom Mansion, a new Cloudbet Originals game from Joy Studios, wants to be the next one.
It is the first game in a new category called Immersive World Betting. You do not spin reels or watch a ball drop. You move through a haunted mansion, aim at ghosts, and every shot you fire is a bet with an instant result. And every ghost you catch also fills a bonus that can pay up to 999x on top.

The Soul Collector: a second win on top of every capture
Most casino games pay you once per bet. Fearshot can pay you twice.
Every ghost you capture pays its own multiplier, from 1.1x to 350x. That is the first win. Then its soul flies out of the ghost and into the Soul Collector, a glass jar beside the action. The jar fills with every capture. When it overflows, it pays a Soul Collector Win of 2x to 999x your bet, on top of the capture.
Here is why that matters:
- Nothing is wasted. Even a small 1.3x capture moves the jar closer to its next payout. Every hit builds toward something bigger.
- Bigger ghosts fill it faster. A Head Mistress soul raises the level far more than one from The Drowned. Aim higher, and the jar overflows sooner.
- The prize is a surprise. When the jar overflows, it reveals one of 25 prizes: 2x, 5x, 10x, 50x, 100x, all the way up to 999x. Small prizes are common, large ones are rare, and you never know which one is coming.
- It pays automatically. You do not press anything. The jar overflows, the prize lands, and the jar starts again empty.
And then there is the Inquisitor. Capture this 350x demon and the Soul Collector always overflows, with its own, bigger set of prizes: 20x to 999x. One shot, two big wins, back to back.
It is the feeling players love in the best modern slots, when an extra multiplier lands on top of a win. In Fearshot, you can watch it build with every soul you catch.
The story
Phantom Mansion was once famous for its lavish parties. Then came the final grand dinner. The ruthless Head Mistress had her own son and granddaughter poisoned, and the grieving Wailing Widow turned to forbidden rituals for revenge. The rituals went wrong. Now everyone who died there is still there, and a vast fortune is sealed behind a curse.
You enter as a supernatural bounty hunter armed with the Phantom Blaster, a weapon that turns captured spirit energy into gold.

How a shot works
The game carries you through seven rooms: the Grand Foyer, Toy Room, Library, Boiler Room, Kitchen, Dining Hall and, finally, the Secret Altar.
Every shot is one bet on one ghost. Capture it and you win your bet times its multiplier. Miss, and the shot pays nothing. You choose your risk with your aim:
| Ghost | Pays |
|---|---|
| Wailing Widow (jump scare) | 1.1x per hit |
| The Drowned | 1.3x |
| Goodnight Dolly | 1.5x |
| Charley Chatterbox | 2x |
| M. T. Woe | 3x |
| Mr. Razorburn | 5x |
| Chef DeVour | 12x |
| Head Mistress | 35x |
| The Inquisitor | 350x |
Low-value ghosts are captured often. The Inquisitor is the rarest capture in the mansion.
The boss: Sister Penance
In the Secret Altar, any shot can summon Sister Penance, a demon of final judgment. She brings seven Bailiffs, and each one can pay up to 50x. The fight pays up to 350x, and you keep the total whether you defeat her or not.

The biggest shot in the game
Stack it all on one shot in the Secret Altar: capture the Inquisitor (350x), overflow the Soul Collector at its top prize (999x), and win a perfect boss fight (350x). That is 1,699x, with a maximum win of $1,000,000 per bet. Even outside the Secret Altar, the capture and the Soul Collector together can pay up to 1,349x on a single shot.
And yes, it will make you jump
At random, the Wailing Widow rushes straight at the screen and screams. For a few seconds she is the only target. Every hit on her pays 1.1x, and every hit sends a little of her soul into the jar.
