Cloudbet Sportsbook Rules

General Settlement & Cancellation

These general rules apply to every sport unless clearly intended otherwise.

For any team sport: if the scheduled venue is changed after the market is loaded, all bets will be void only if the new venue is a home ground of the original away team.

For all categories or markets other than team sports: if the scheduled venue is changed after the market is loaded, all bets will stand.

If there is a change in the type of scheduled surface after the market has been loaded, all bets will stand.

The result of a fixture will be the final determination by the fixture’s governing body on the date of the fixture’s completion. Cloudbet does not recognise protested or overturned decisions.

In any fixture involving a forfeit, walkover, or any other event where the fixture is considered complete without having been played, all bets will be void, regardless of how the governing body of its league scores it.

Cloudbet reserves the right to void any bet at any time if it deems the bet to have been made in a fraudulent manner.

All bets will be accepted or rejected purely at Cloudbet's discretion. In-Play bets may be subject to a short delay before they are accepted and/or they will be kept pending during dangerous situations at Cloudbet's discretion. If there is an obvious error in the odds or limit of a market, bets on that market may be voided. If for any reason a bet is accepted Cloudbet reserves the right to deem the bet void if it determines that an advantage has been gained.

The sportsbook rules presented in various languages other than English are for reference only. In the event of any differences or conflict between the English version of the sportsbook rules (accessible from the homepage of the website) and a version in any other language, the English version shall prevail.

Dead heat

For each bet matched on a relevant winning selection, the stake money is first reduced in proportion by multiplying it by the sum of the number of winners, divided by the number of actual winners (i.e. stake multiplied by (number of winners expected/number of actual winners)). The winnings are then paid to the successful backers on this 'reduced stake' (reduced stake multiplied by traded price).

For example, assume there is a dead heat for first place between three horses. 'Client A' has backed one of the winners for a stake of 300 at the traded price of 4.0. When the event is settled, the stake (300) is multiplied by 1/3 (i.e. the number of expected winners (1) divided by the number of actual winners (3)) to calculate the reduced stake (100). The backer then receives the traded price matched (4.0) multiplied by the reduced stake (4 x 100 = 400). In this example, Client A's net winnings are 100 (400 payout minus the original 300 stake).

Suspected Irregularities

When a game or sporting event has or is suspected of having any irregularities the Operator may withhold payments until a full investigation by the relevant governing body/independent authority.

Human Error / System Problems

If a bet is accepted at a price that is materially different from those available in the general market at the time the bet was made or clearly incorrect given the chance of the event occurring then the Operator will void all these bets.

Although every effort is made to ensure that information displayed on site with regards to events is correct, event dates, start times, scores and match times displayed on our website are an indication only and are not guaranteed to be correct. Customers should be aware that transmissions (data feeds, live video streaming, etc) described as live may at times be delayed. The extent of a delay may vary between customers, depending on the connection through which they are receiving data or content. If you rely on this information to place bets, you do so entirely at your own risk.

Cloudbet will not be liable for any action taken or not taken by you as a result of your reliance on this information or for any loss or damage (direct or indirect) suffered as a result of your use of this information.

Multiples

A multiple bet consists of a number of different chosen selections in any individual event market.

The Operator reserves the right not to accept certain multiple bets.

If a multiple contains a selection that is being voided the odds for this selection will be set to 1, i.e. if the multiple contains the selections over 2.5 goals in game A (odds=2) home in game B (odds=1.5) and game B is being voided the odds for this multiple will be 2 1 = 2.

If a multiple contains a selection that is being settled "Half Win" the total odds are calculated as: one Win and one Half Win, odds(selection1) * (odds (selection2)/2 + 1/2).

If a multiple contains a selection that is being settled "Half Lose" the total odds are calculated as: i.e. one Win and one Half Lose, odds(selection1) * 1/2.

Outrights / Ante Post

When placing "Outright" bets no stakes will be refunded on participants that are not participating or withdrawing from an event. In case of more winners the dead heat rule will be applied.

If the event or tournament is not completed within 24 hours after the scheduled completion date all bets will be void.

Postponed / Abandoned Matches

If a match does not start on the scheduled starting date or starts but is later abandoned and is not completed (resumed) by the end of the next full day, all bets will be void except for any bets placed on markets which have been unconditionally determined, which will stand.

Some markets have different rules and these are listed under each sport/market.

Resettlements

The Operator reserves the right to reverse the settlement of a market if a market is settled in error (i.e. human or technical error).

Settled Outcomes

There are five different settled outcomes being used: Win, Lose, Tie, Half win and Half lose. Half win and Half lose refers to Asian handicap or Over/Under where the line includes a quarter (0.25, 0.75, 1.25 etc.).

If a bet is placed on over 2.25, half of the stake is placed on over 2 and half of the stake is placed on over 2.5. If the game ends with exactly two goals (1-1, 2-0 or 0-2) the bet placed on over 2 is settled tie and the bet placed on over 2.5 is settled lose. This is called Half lose. If the game ends with more than two goals the bet is settled win or if it ends with less than two goals the bet is settled lose.

If a bet is placed on over 2.75, half of the stake is placed on over 2.5 and half of the stake is placed on over 3. If the game ends with exactly three goals (2-1, 3-0, 1-2 or 0-3) the bet placed on over 2.5 is settled as win and the bet placed on over 3 is settled tie. This is called Half win. If the game ends with more than three goals the bet is settled win or if it ends with less than three goals the bet is settled lose.

If the wagering offer on an event includes a draw as a third option and the event ends in a draw, wagers on the draw will be paid, while wagers on either side will be lost.

American Football

  1. If a game is suspended with fewer than 55 minutes completed and is not completed within 12 hours of suspension, all bets on the Game-period will be void and bets on completed periods will have action. If a game is suspended after 55 minutes of play and not resumed within 12 hours of suspension, then regardless of whether the game is completed at a later date or not, all bets will have action and the score when the game was suspended will be considered final. In addition, if the cumulative playing time of all quarters is less than 55 minutes, Full-game markets will have no action and bets will be void.
  2. If a game is not started within 12 hours of its originally scheduled time all bets will be void.
  3. Bets on the Game and 2nd Half-periods include points scored in overtime.
  4. NFL Pro Bowl wagers will have action regardless of number of periods played and regardless of the minutes played in each period.
  5. Proposition/special markets may take longer to settle than regular markets.
  6. Bet settlement and payouts following the conclusion of the Super Bowl may be delayed due to high volumes.

American Football Market Rules

  1. Team to Score Next: Extra Points and 2-Point Conversions are not considered a score. The “point after try” is considered part of scoring the Touchdown.

  2. Passing Statistics: Bets are void if a named Quarterback doesn’t attempt at least one pass.

  3. Rushing Statistics Over/Under: If the named competitor plays but has no rushing attempts, their total and first attempted rushing yardage is considered to be zero.

  4. Receiving Statistics Over/Under: If a named Receiver plays, but does not have a catch, their total and first attempted receiving yardage is considered to be zero.

  5. Time of Score: Seconds listed in the market are inclusive, so events that happen on that second of game time are counted.

  6. First 1st Down: 1st downs gained on penalties and changes of possession are not counted.

  7. Unanswered Scores: Extra Points and 2-Point Conversions are counted as part of the Touchdown and not considered consecutive scoring events. Any return by the opposition on an Extra Point or 2-Point Conversion attempt also does not count towards these markets.

  8. Longest Touchdown: If there are no Touchdowns, these markets will be void.

  9. Entertainment Props: For contests involving the length of a song, such as the National Anthem, the length will be measured from when the artist starts singing until the point where the artist stops singing the song. Any instrumental accompaniment before or after the actual singing will not count toward length of song.

  10. Special Teams and Defensive Touchdowns: The only Touchdowns considered to be Special Teams Touchdowns are on plays where the ball is actually kicked or punted (these include: Kickoff Returns, Punt Returns, returns of a fumbled Kickoff Return, returns of a fumbled Punt Return, blocked Field Goal Returns, or blocked Punt Returns). A fake Field Goal or fake Punt which results in a Touchdown by the team that snapped the ball is considered an offensive Touchdown.

  11. Competitor to Score a Touchdown: Passing for a Touchdown is not considered scoring a Touchdown. Only the competitor who has possession of the ball in the End Zone is considered to have scored the Touchdown.

  12. Pass Interference Penalties: Both offensive and defensive Interference counts; however, the penalty must be accepted and enforced on the play to be considered valid. If the penalty is declined or if there are offsetting penalties negating enforcement of Interference, then the winner will be determined on the next Interference penalty.

  13. Holding Penalties: Both offensive and defensive Holding counts; however, the penalty must be accepted and enforced on the play to be considered valid. If the penalty is declined or if there are offsetting penalties negating enforcement of Holding, then the winner will be determined on the next Holding penalty.

  14. Longest Kickoff Return: Bets are void if each team doesn’t have at least one Kickoff Return.

  15. Longest Punt Return: Bets are void if each team doesn’t have at least one Punt Return.

  16. Number of Different Players to Score: All scoring plays except Safeties are counted.

  17. First Touchdown Pass Distance Over/Under: Bets are void if the named Quarterback doesn’t complete at least one Touchdown Pass.

  18. AFC/NFC Champion Futures: The champion of each conference is the team that reaches the Super Bowl.

  19. Regular Season Wins: Markets will be settled when a team exceeds their win total and is expected to play all 17 regular season games or cannot possibly exceed their win total, given their number of games remaining, and are expected to play all 17 regular season games. If there is any reasonable doubt about whether or not a team will play 17 regular season games, the team’s Regular Season Wins market won't be settled until the end of the regular season. Once the Regular Season Wins markets have been settled, they will not be changed, even if a team subsequently plays fewer than 17 games, as the result has been established. Games that the NFL deems as a forfeit will be counted as a played game, and whatever result the NFL establishes for the teams in a forfeited game will count for those teams' season wins.

  20. NCAA Football Season Wins: Bowl games and Conference Championship games are not counted towards Regular Season Wins totals. Teams must play every scheduled regular season game for action.

  21. NCAA Football Conference Championship Futures: If the conference has an official championship game, the winner of that game is considered to have won that conference. For Divisional Odds within the conferences, the team participating in the Conference Championship game is considered to have won that division.

  22. NFL Weekly Markets: If any game in the listed week is cancelled or postponed, and not completed within 96 hours of its scheduled start time, all weekly markets will be void, regardless of the outcome of any specific game.

  23. Heisman Trophy Winner Yes/No: Bets made before the competitor’s team’s first scheduled game will be void if the competitor does not play in that game.

  24. Tied After First Score: “Yes” will be considered the winner if the game is tied any time after the first score, including if it is tied following a Touchdown, before the Extra Point or 2-Point Conversion attempt.

  25. Kickoff/Punt Return Match-ups: Both listed competitors must have at least one Kick/Punt Return for action.

  26. Last Score Markets: Only Touchdowns, Field Goals and Safeties will be counted. Extra Points and 2-Point Conversions following Touchdowns will not.

  27. Punt Markets: A blocked Punt will count as a Punt for Team Punt markets, but not count towards markets for a competitor’s number of Punts.

  28. Punter Markets: In all markets with an individual Punter named - except “Total Punts by a Punter Over/Under” - that punter must have at least one Punt for action.

  29. Longest and Shortest Made Field Goal: Bets will be void if there are no successful Field Goals.

  30. Offensive Drive: An offensive Touchdown or Field Goal will count as an Offensive Score. If a team scores a Touchdown on a fake Punt or a fake Field Goal, that will be counted as an Offensive Score. The events that will end a specific Offensive Drive are:

    1. Offensive Score (Touchdown or Field Goal)
    2. Safety
    3. Turnover (even if the fumble or interception is fumbled back to the team who originally snapped the ball)
    4. Turnover on Downs
    5. Punt (not negated by penalty)
    6. Field Goal attempt (not negated by penalty)
    7. End of Half
    8. End of Regulation or Overtime
  31. First or Last Touchdown Markets: For propositions for an individual to score (or not score) the first or last Touchdown, the proposition will be graded based on the first (or last) Touchdown of the game scored by either team. If there is no Touchdown scored in the game, all contests for specific players will have action (‘Under’ bets would win).

  32. In addition to all other rules listed for individual statistical markets, the particular player must play for action.

  33. As part of our extensive NFL Draft offering, we will be offering Outright markets for each team named ‘position of 1st draft pick’. We will be using the NFL.com as our source of resulting. Please note that Travis Hunter will be treated as a Cornerback and not a Wide Receiver for these markets despite him being assigned both positions on NFL.com.

Australian Rules Football

Important:

All markets exclude overtime unless otherwise stated

If a match is interrupted and continued within 48h after initial kickoff, all open bets will be settled with the final result. Otherwise all undecided bets are considered void.

Regular 80 Minutes: Markets are based on the result at the end of a scheduled 80 minutes play unless otherwise stated. This includes any added injury or stoppage time but does not include extra-time.

Settlement and cancellation rules:

If odds were offered with an incorrect match time (more than 2 minutes), we reserve the right to void betting.

If a match is interrupted or postponed and is not continued within 48h after initial kick-off date betting will be void.

If the team names or category are displayed incorrectly, we reserve the right to void betting.

Badminton

Head to Head Matchups:

In the event of a match starting but not being completed for any reason, all bets on the outcome of the match will be void.

If a player withdraws from either a singles, doubles or mixed doubles match before it is finished, the bets will be refunded, regardless of when in the match the players resigns.

Team Match:

All bets stand on the outcomes of a team match, even though one or more individual matches should be settled by walk over decisions due to player resignation.

If a player is changed in a singles or a doubles match, the bets on this individual match will be refunded. All bets on the outcome of a team match will, however, not be affected by any player substitutions or changes in the team line ups.

Delay or Suspension:

If a Badminton match is completed, all wagers stand as written. A delay in the start of a match will not affect the standing of wagers, nor will a suspension, as long as play is resumed and the match completed.

In the event a match does not go the specified number of sets, and the match is shortened by tournament officials, the leader determined to be official by tournament officials shall be the winner.

Bandy

Bets apply to regular time excluding overtime.

If a 2 x 45 minutes match is changed to 3 x 30 minutes, all bets on the full match will stand.

Baseball

  1. A pitcher is considered to have started a game once they have thrown the first pitch for their team. A non-pitcher is considered to have started the game once they are in the opening line-up and have made their first plate appearance.

  2. If a market includes exactly one or two names of competitors, then all listed competitors must start the game for the bet to have action. The exception to this rule is markets for competitor “Save” statistics which will have action regardless of whether or not the competitor plays in the game.

  3. Bets made before the start of the game on the Game-period Money Line market have action as long as at least 5 innings (or 4.5 innings if the Home team is winning) are completed. If a game is called before 9 innings (or 8.5 innings of the Home team wins) are complete, the score at the end of the last completed inning will be considered final. All Game-period markets, other than the Money Line, have action only once 9 innings or (8.5 if Home team wins) are completed. Periods that have been played to completion will have action even if the game is not completed.

  4. All Game-period In-Play markets require that the game be played to completion with 9 innings (or 8.5 if Home team wins) to have action. Periods that have been played to completion will have action even if the game is not played to completion.

  5. In games where a “Mercy Rule” is expressly part of the rules, all Periods are considered to have been played to completion when a Mercy Rule is invoked.

  6. Bets on the 1st Half-period of baseball games are based on the results at the conclusion of five innings of play. Bets made before the game on the 1st Half-period Handicap and Money Line markets have action once five innings are played or 4.5 innings if the game is called at 4.5 innings and the Home team is declared the winner. All other 1st Half markets (including the In-Play 1st Half Handicap and Money Line markets) require at least five innings to be played for action.

  7. If an baseball game is suspended in order to be resumed more than 12 hours from the first pitch, all pre-game bets on the Game-period markets are void and bets on completed periods have action. With the exceptions of:

  8. Baseball Playoff and Play-In games, which will have action whenever the game is completed.

  9. Game-period Money Line bets, which have action based on the score at the end of the last completed inning as long as at least 5 innings (or 4.5 innings if the Home team is winning) are completed.

  10. Competitor Statistics Markets will have action if the game is completed on the day of the first pitch or the following day.

  11. Markets other than Competitor Statistics Markets for Regular Season Games suspended after 9 innings have been completed will have action based on the score at the end of the last completed inning.

  12. If an baseball game is suspended in order to be resumed more than 30 hours from the first pitch, all Live bets on the Game-period markets are void and bets on completed periods have action. If a game is suspended and resumed within 30 hours of the first pitch, all Live bets will have action when their periods are completed. Live bets on MLB Playoff and Play-In games will have action whenever the game is completed.

  13. In circumstances when the “Home” team is not playing at their home stadium, the team whose starting pitcher throws the very first pitch of the game is considered the Home team.

  14. Seven Inning Doubleheader Rules:

    1. Bets made before the start of the game on the Game-period Money Line market have action as long as at least 5 innings (or 4.5 innings if the Home team is winning) are completed. All Game-period markets, other than the Money Line, have action only once 7 innings or (6.5 if Home team wins) are completed. Periods that have been played to completion will have action even if the game is not completed.
    2. All Game-period In-Play markets require that the game be played to completion with 7 innings (or 6.5 if Home team wins) to have action. Periods that have been played to completion will have action even if the game is not played to completion.
    3. All bets on Seven Inning Doubleheader games will be void if it is not indicated that it is a seven-inning game.
    4. If a Seven Inning game is not completed, Baseball Rules 3, 7, and 8 apply with the consideration that “7 innings (6.5 if home team wins)” replaces “9 innings (8.5 if home team wins)”.
  15. Baseball bets have action at the stated odds regardless of the starting pitcher for either team.

  16. Baseball/MLB/Minor League Baseball G1/G2 DOUBLEHEADER: We will designate MLB/Minor League Baseball doubleheader games with a G1 or G2 (Game 1 or Game 2) designation. If we have a game posted without the G1 or G2 designation and MLB/Minor League Baseball announces a doubleheader for those teams on that day, the game without the G1/G2 designation and all associated contests for that game without the G1 or G2 designation will have no action.

Baseball Market Rules

  1. MLB Regular Season Wins: Will be settled when a team exceeds their win total and is expected to play at least 158 games or cannot possibly exceed their win total given their number of games remaining and is expected to play at least 158 games. If there is any reasonable doubt as to whether or not a team will play at least 158 games, their Season Wins markets won’t be settled until they do. Any additional tiebreaker games (such as Wildcard or Division) will not be counted towards Regular Season Wins. Once Season Wins markets have been settled, they will not be changed, even if a team plays fewer games than expected for any reason.
  2. MLB AL/NL Pennant Champion: Each league's pennant winner will be the team that represents that league in the World Series.
  3. Total Bases: A Single is worth one, a Double is worth two, a Triple is worth three, a Home Run is worth four. No other type of play counts towards Total Bases markets.
  4. Runs Allowed: Earned and Unearned Runs are counted.
  5. Innings Pitched: Each inning completed is worth one, and each out recorded thereafter worth 0.1.
  6. Division Winner: Markets are resulted based on standings at the end of the season, as long as every team in the division has played at least 90% of their scheduled games. If teams are tied in terms of record, the winner will be 1) the winner of the tiebreaker game or 2) the team declared the winner by the league's tiebreaker system for seeding playoff teams.
  7. Season-Long Home Run Leader: If the Home Run lead is tied, Batting Average will be used as the tiebreaker.
  8. Season-Long Competitor Match-ups: If either competitor does not play in at least one of his team’s first 10 games all bets are void.
  9. Hits + Runs + Errors Markets: Games must be played to completion for action. If a game is called or suspended in extra innings, the results will be determined after the last completed inning, unless the home team scores to tie in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the result is determined at the time the game is called.
  10. No-Hitters Markets: Individual and combined No-Hitters are counted as long as the game is played to completion.
  11. Competitor Statistics Markets: Games must be played to completion for action. If a game is suspended before completion and the game is resumed the following day, statistics from both days will be counted towards the results of these markets. If the game is not resumed the following day, all bets will be void. In addition, the player listed must start for bets on his statistical markets to have action.
  12. Competitor Statistic Match-Up Markets: All bets have action as long as both competitors start the game and the game is played to completion.
  13. Home/Away Markets: All scheduled games, as indicated in the offering, must complete nine innings or 8.5 innings (if the home team is ahead). If a game is suspended after at least nine innings have been completed, the score after the last fully completed inning will be used for the Home/Away bet.
  14. MLB Regular Season Win Percentage: Bets will be settled at the conclusion of the Regular Season. Bets have action as long as the team has completed at least 140 Regular Season games. Any Play-In Games are NOT considered for the purposes of Regular Season Win Percentage.
  15. MLB Plate Appearance Markets: MLB Plate Appearance Markets are settled according to the outcome seen in the game’s official box score, with the exception that all bets are void on Sacrifice Bunts, Intentional Walks, and Catcher Interference. If a Plate Appearance begins in an inning and is not concluded in that inning (because of a baserunner caught stealing for the third out or an injured batter, for example) all bets on that Plate Appearance are void and the market will be offered again in the next inning if applicable.
  16. MLB All-Star Game - Home Run Contest: If, at the end of 9 innings, in the MLB All-Star Game there is a Home Run Contest to determine the winning team, Cloudbet shall award one run to the Home Run Contest winning team. All full game markets will be graded incorporating that additional run. For example, if the MLB All-Star Game is tied 4-4 after 9 innings and the American League wins the subsequent Home Run Derby, then the American League will be declared the winner 5-4 and all full game bets will be graded based on the 5-4 score.

German Baseball Rules:

  1. For all games the result is official after 5 innings of play unless the home team is leading after 4.5 innings. If a game is called or suspended, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning unless the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the winner is determined by the score at the time the game is called. Monies will be refunded if the home team ties the game and it is then suspended.
  2. Events will not carry over to the following day unless otherwise specified.
  3. For all games previously scheduled for nine innings, when wagering on total runs (over/under), run lines (handicap) or alternate run lines (alternate handicap), the game must go 9 innings (8.5 if the home team is ahead) to have action. If a game is called or suspended in extra innings, the score will be determined after the last full inning unless the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the score is determined at the time the game is called.
  4. For games previously scheduled for seven innings, the second game of double headers for instance, when wagering on total runs (over/under), run lines (handicap) or alternate run lines (alternate handicap) the game must go 7 innings (6.5 if the home team is ahead) to have action. If a game is called or suspended in extra innings, the score will be determined after the last full inning unless the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the score is determined at the time the game is called.

Japanese Baseball:

  1. When wagering on total runs (over/under) the game must go 9 innings (8.5 if the home team is ahead) to have action. If a game is called, suspended or declared a tie in extra innings, the score will be determined after the last full inning unless the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the score is determined at the time the game is called.
  2. Rules for Run Line (handicap) and Alternate Run Line (alternate handicap) wagers are the same as those for Japanese baseball totals.

Taiwanese Line Type Bets:

For the Taiwanese odds display format, the first value is the handicap, followed by the taiball percentage and lastly by the price. The taiball percentage can be an integer from -100 to 100.

Note that in the case of a tie, Taiwanese Line type bets are not graded as no action (cancel). Instead, if the score lands on the Handicap, a wager on a Positive taiball percent will pay out the taiball percent of the original to win amount. A wager on the negative taiball percentage will lose the taiball percent of the original Risk amount.

World Baseball Classic Rules:

  1. All spread, money line, and total wagers will have action in games stopped early due to the mercy rule.
  2. All bets taken on a suspended game (one that started), will have action for 72 hours from the start time, as long as the WBC governing body recognises an eventual winner. Money line wagers will only have action as long as the game goes at least 4.5 innings. Spread and total wagers will only have action if the game goes at least 8.5 innings (except in mercy rule games, see rule above).
  3. All bets taken on a postponed game will not have action. Once the postponed game is rescheduled, normal wagering rules apply.
  4. Pool Wagering - In the event of a tie between 2 or 3 teams within a pool, whoever wins the tiebreaker according the world baseball classic (whichever team is considered the number 1 team from that pool in the next round) is considered the winner.

Little League World Series:

  1. Any game ending early as a result of a mercy rule will have action on all wagers in the Little League World Series.
  2. Wagers on postponed or suspended games will have action as long as the game is completed within 60 hours of its originally scheduled time in the Little League World Series.
  3. We make no guarantees that the team listed on the bottom of our fixtures is the home team in Little League World Series games.
  4. Money Line Wagers will have action in all official games (4 innings or 3.5 innings if the home team is ahead). In order for wagers on totals and run lines to have action, the game must go 6 innings (5.5 innings if home team ahead), except for mercy rule games (see rule #1).

Basketball

Settlement of Wagers

  1. Statistics provided by the official score(s) provider or the official website of the relevant competition will be used to settle wagers. Where statistics from an official score(s) provider or official website are not available or there is significant evidence that the official score(s) provider or official website is incorrect, we will use independent evidence to support bet settlement.
  2. In the absence of consistent, independent evidence or in the presence of significant conflicting evidence, bets will be settled after a thorough investigation.
  3. Cloudbet does not recognise protests or overturned decisions for wagering purposes.

Treatment for date change

  1. If an event is not played on its scheduled date all wagers on the event will have no action.

Treatment if event does not come to its natural conclusion

  1. If play is suspended before the minimum time has been reached and not resumed the same day, all wagers on the event will have no action.

Minimum time (length of event) needed for action

  1. All competitions/leagues except the NBA must go at least 35 minutes for action unless otherwise specified.
  2. NBA games must go at least 43 minutes to have action.
  3. For wagers on periods (quarters and halfs) the minimum time is considered to be the duration of the period. If the entire game is not completed, wagers on quarters and halfs will have action if the relevant period was completed.
  4. NBA preseason games must go at least 36 minutes for action.

Treatment for overtime

  1. Any wager on the game or the 2nd half will include any overtime that may occur, unless otherwise specified.
  2. Any wager on the 4th quarter does not include any overtime that may occur.
  3. Market: Odd/Even is graded upon regular time only.

Regular Season Wins Props:

  1. NBA regular season win bets will be graded and have action when the following two things occur:\ a. The team, mathematically, cannot win the number of games indicated in the bet or has already won the number of games indicated in the bet.\ b. If a race does not take part on its scheduled day, all bets will be void.

If a scheduled surface type is changed (e.g. turf to dirt) all bets will stand.

Cloudbet Rule 4 adjustment

Rule 4 relates to non-runners when a horse in a race is declared a non-starter. To make the adjustment Cloudbet applies a reduction factor to the remaining runners. The reduction factor allocated to a non-runner is a calculation of that horse’s chances of winning and only affects winning bets.

Any horse listed when the relevant market is loaded which does not subsequently come under starter’s orders is deemed to be a non-runner.

Reduction factors can be amended at Cloudbet’s discretion at any time throughout the market life cycle.

Rule 4 adjustments are not applied to bets which are struck in-play.

Card numbers are posted as a guide only: bets are placed on a named horse.

Horse racing bets are win only and singles only, i.e. not parlayable.

Ice Hockey

Unless otherwise specified, bets include overtime and penalty shootouts.

Exact Goals market, overtime counts unless otherwise stated.

Money Line markets (two-way) include overtime.

Match Result markets (three-way) do not include overtime.

Penalty shootouts are expressly considered part of overtime. If a penalty shootout is contested, the winner will be credited with an extra goal.

Games must go a minimum of 55 minutes for wagers to stand. If a game is suspended before 55 complete minutes are played, all wagers on the outcome of the game are refunded.

Minimum time for action on periods: The specific period must be played in its entirety for wagers to stand. Otherwise, all wagers on the period are refunded.

Goals in overtime or the shootout do not count toward bets on the 3rd period.

Mixed Martial Arts

Unless stated on the site, fights must take place within one week of the listed date of the fight or the bout will be graded "no action" and wagers refunded to the player's Cloudbet account.

In the event of a venue change:

If the venue changes within the same country of the fight, this will have no effect on the status of pending wagers.

If the venue changes to a different country, this will result in a grade of "no action" on all pending wagers.

In the case that the number of scheduled rounds in a fight is changed, the following wagers will have action: the fight winner, fighter wins only, and draw options. "Fight totals" and "will go/won't go" markets will have action if the updated scheduled rounds are more than the total listed on the proposition.

Bet placed on exact round of ending, fighter to win inside distance, win by decision, and goes distance propositions will all result in a grade of "no action" if scheduled rounds are changed or incorrect on the site.

All mixed martial arts results will be graded based on the official result at ringside.

Fight results are only considered official by Cloudbet when verified by officials at the fighting venue, and a result may be revised or altered after initial presentation by the ring announcer.

Official or unofficial sanctioning body overturns of a fight decision based on appeal, suspension, lawsuit, drug testing result, or any other fighter sanction will not be recognised for wagering purposes.

An "Inside Distance" wager wins if the selected fighter wins by KO, TKO, DQ, submission, or any other form of stoppage inside the allocated fight time.

In MMA, a win by submissions is not graded or considered a KO/TKO. As a result, a wager on a fighter to win by "KO/TKO" wins only if the fighter wins by KO, TKO or corner stoppage.

In the case of a draw, wagers on both fighters "to win" are refunded into your Cloudbet account.

Other proposition wagers are graded according to their specific wording.

An if bet – win only – wager is considered a loss when a fight ends in a draw.

If a fight is deemed “No Contest” all bets are void except for periods that have already been completed and markets that have already been conclusively determined.

A total listed on a fight represents the total number of completed rounds. The halfway point of a round is at exactly two minutes and thirty seconds into a five-minute round. Therefore, 2½ rounds would be two minutes and thirty seconds of the 3rd round.

If an over/under total lands on the exact half round total in a fight, the wager will be a push.

If the phrase "Fight goes 2:30 round X", and the fight ends at exactly that second of that round, then "Fight goes" will be graded the winner.

In round distance wagering, if a fighter fails to answer the bell for the start of any round, the fight officially ended in the last round fought.

In total wagering, if a fighter does not answer the bell to start a round where the fight has gone the exact distance listed on the total, the UNDER is the winner.

Any fight involving an extra round or "sudden victory" round, this round will be included for wagering purposes.

All bets accepted after a bout is announced by any of the following twitter accounts will be considered void: @BigMarcel24 @bokamotoESPN @ufc @btsportUFC.

All wagers will be graded at the time of the podium presentation. Subsequent penalties or demotions will not affect the grading of wagers.

Soccer

If a match does not start as scheduled, and isn’t completed within 12 hours of kickoff, then all bets on periods that aren’t completed will be void. The exception is any wager on whether a team advances in a cup competition, or raises the cup, which will stand regardless of a suspended or postponed match.

Wagers will be decided on games with two halves scheduled for 45 minutes each and any time the referee adds to compensate for injuries and other stoppages. It does not include periods of extra time nor penalty shootouts. If a referee declares a game abandoned for any reason, wagers will be void and stakes returned on periods that aren’t completed.

If a match is suspended before full time is reached, and not completed within 12 hours of kickoff, wagers on the outcome of the match are considered void. If a match is suspended before full time is reached and not resumed within 12 hours of kickoff, wagers related to just the first half will have action, only if the first half has been completed. However, in the case of a suspended match not resumed within 12 hours of kickoff, most other proposition wagers not strictly related to the first half will be void. These will include, but aren't limited to: corner kicks, offsides, players to be sent off, red/yellow cards, both teams to score, correct score, time of first goal, clean sheet, and specific players to score/not score. For further clarity, a bet on both teams to score will be void in a suspended match, even if both teams have already scored. Likewise, a wager on a player to score/not score will be void in a suspended match, even if that player already scored. Likewise, a wager on when the first goal will be scored will be void in a suspended match, regardless of whether a goal has been scored. Likewise all corner/offside bets will be void in a suspended match, even if the number has exceeded the posted over/under. Propositions on the team to score first, or next, will stand if there is a goal in a suspended match.

A match must reach full time for wagers on the total number of goals scored in the match to stand.

Wagers on the first half of a soccer match include 45 minutes of play plus any stoppage time added by the referee at the end of the first half. If the first half is not completed, wagers will be void.

Wagers on the second half of a soccer match include 45 minutes of play plus any stoppage time added by the referee at the end of the second half. Extra periods, golden goals, and shootouts are not included in second half wagering. Goals scored in the first half do not count toward the second half wager.

The match must reach full time for second half wagers to stand.

Bets on teams to qualify or to advance to the next round of a competition are paid out on the referee's final whistle at the match's natural conclusion, whether the match is decided in regular time, extra time, or in a penalty shootout. Extra time and penalty shootouts are always included for betting purposes.

In a one-leg match all bets will stand once the match kicks off. If the referee abandons a one-leg match (for reasons including, but not limited to: crowd disturbances, unplayability of the pitch, or one team not having enough players to continue) bets will be paid based on decisions of the relevant governing body. Bets will stand while the governing body considers the circumstances of the abandonment and determines what remedy is to be taken (including, but no limited to: forfeiture, resumption of play at a later time, or a replay). If a team is disqualified before the match kicks off, all bets will be void. If the rules prescribe a replay for a drawn match, all bets stand for the replay.

In a two-leg match, all bets will stand once the second leg kicks off, provided that the first leg has not been ruled a forfeit. If the first leg is ruled a forfeit, all bets on teams to qualify or to advance will be void. If the second leg is abandoned, all bets remain valid and will be paid based on decisions of the relevant governing body.

Wagers made on a team winning a specific cup or trophy will include extra time and penalty kicks bets will be graded on the result after those added sessions (if they are required).

Own goals will not be considered for Anytime Goalscorer settlement purposes and are ignored. All players who took part in the match are considered as runners.

For hat-trick bets, only goals in regulation time, or any time the referee adds to compensate for injuries and other stoppages, are included. Own goals do not count.

For Exact Score, Total number of Goals, Team Number of Goals, Both Teams to Score, Double Chance and any Handicap Propositions, only goals in regulation time, or any time the referee adds to compensate for injuries and other stoppages, are included.

For proposition bets in a specific match this includes regulation time (plus injury time) only. Own goals do not count. For wagers to stand, the player must be listed to start the match which includes substitutes and players on the bench. Bets on any player who do not show up for the match will be void. A player is still counted as a runner, regardless of how long they have played or even if they have not entered the pitch. This means that if your player goes off injured in the first minute and hasn't scored they are deemed a loser; likewise, if your player comes off the bench late on and doesn't score they are also deemed a loser.

For half-time/full-time score propositions, only goals in regulation time or any added injury time will count. If match does not go full time, then all wagers on this proposition will be refunded.

For correct score propositions, only goals in regulation time or any added injury time will count. If the score is 0-0 at full time, then no goals or exact score of 0-0 will be declared the winner.

A Clean Sheet will be defined as a team not allowing a goal in regulation or added injury time only. Any goals allowed in extra time or penalty shootouts will not affect this wager.

For "Win to Nil" propositions, the team must have a clean sheet(as defined above) and be ahead at the end of regulation/injury time. If the team is not ahead at the end of regulation/injury time, then the related proposition will be graded as a loss.

In-Play bets will be void if a Video Assistant Referee (VAR) decision materially affects the odds of the bets. In the scenario that bets need to be void, the time of the foul that led to the VAR review will be taken into consideration.

BET BUILDER WAGERING RULES

The following details the rules under which all singles and same game multi (SGM) Bet Builder bets will be settled.

A Bet Builder SGM bet is the aggregate bet comprised of all constituent selections. Any reference to a ‘bet’ within these rules refers to the entire contents of a Bet Builder betslip. Any reference to a ‘selection’ refers to one selection within the related bet.

BET BUILDER WAGERING RULES - AFL

  1. SELECTION AND BET RESULTS

All AFL SGM selections must win (no ties, draws or pushes) for a bet to be deemed a winner. A selection that does not win, unless explicitly specified within these rules, will be settled as a loser. If one or more selections in any bet are resulted as void for any reason (such as a selected player not participating in the match – see section 4), the entire bet will be resulted as void.

For instance, selections on a team to win a match where the game finishes in a draw, whether the final result has been determined with or without extra time, and even where the draw or tie may not have been offered through Bet Builder, will be settled as losers. Similarly, ‘Race to X’ selections where neither team reaches the selected score will be settled as losers, regardless of whether a ‘neither team to reach X’ selection was available as an alternate selection or not. If a quarter or half finishes scoreless, then goal or point-scoring selections such as First or Last Goalscorer for that period will be settled as losers.

  1. EXTRA TIME

All AFL matches will be settled on the official declared result including any extra time.

  1. SECOND HALF / FOURTH QUARTER MARKETS

All second half and fourth quarter market selections do include extra time if it occurs. For example, a total second half points selection would include the points scored in both the second half and extra time.

  1. PLAYER-SPECIFIC MARKETS

All player selections will be considered active if a player takes to the field of play as an active player at any point of the relevant match, regardless of whether the selection in question references a specific period of the match. If a player never enters the field of play during a match, selections specific to that player will be void. For instance, a selection on a certain player to kick a goal in the second half would be active (and therefore settled as a loser) if that player played the first two minutes of a match, was injured, and did not return to the game, regardless of having never been on the field during the second half. However, if that player was injured shortly before the game commenced, was withdrawn from the starting lineup (or interchange/emergencies) and never took the field, the selection and therefore bet would be void.

  1. POSTPONED AND INCOMPLETE MATCHES

Where a match is postponed or incomplete, and subsequently resumed or played within 24 hours (inclusive) of the original scheduled start time, all bets will stand. All bets placed on games played which commence more than 24 hours past the originally scheduled start time will be void. Once the 24 hours have expired, all bets are void and stakes will be refunded.

  1. ABANDONED MATCHES

If a game is abandoned prior to commencement, it falls within the 24-hour rule for postponed matches as described above. If it is abandoned after commencing but before its natural end point, the following rules apply:

  1. SGMs will be void if they include at least one selection involving a player who has not yet entered the field of play. The rules outlined below are all applied subject to and subsequent to the application of this rule.
  2. If every selection within an SGM on the game is already a winner where the fact of abandonment had no impact on the outcome of each selection, the SGM in its entirety will be treated as a winner. For example, a 2-leg SGM containing an over total points selection and a certain player to kick a goal, in a game where the required points have been reached and the player did kick a goal before the game was subsequently abandoned, will be treated as a winner. In this case, the abandonment had no impact on either selection. The same would not apply to an under total points selection where a game is abandoned while the total score is still under the chosen number, as the abandonment would impact that outcome.
  3. If a single selection of an SGM has lost and a match is then abandoned, the SGM will be treated as a loser, where regardless of the fact of abandonment, the selection(s) in question had been irrevocably concluded. For example, an SGM including a first goal- scorer selection, in a game where a different player kicked the first goal and the match was subsequently then abandoned, will be treated as a loser. In this case, the bet had already lost, and this outcome could not be affected in any way by whether the game was subsequently abandoned or not.
  4. If there are no losing selections within an SGM and at least one void selection at the time of a match abandonment, the SGM will be treated as void. This rule applies where one or more selections are still undecided at abandonment, and may have won or lost if the game had been completed as scheduled. For example, an SGM including an over total points selection, in a game abandoned while the total points are still below the required amount, will be treated as void. In this case, the total points selection was still undecided and may have won or lost but for the abandonment, so the bet will be voided.
  5. VENUE CHANGES

If the venue of a match is changed from the one advertised, all bets on that match will be voided.

BET BUILDER WAGERING RULES - BASEBALL

  1. SELECTION AND BET RESULTS

All baseball SGM selections must win (no ties, draws or pushes) for a bet to be deemed a winner. A selection that does not win, unless explicitly specified within these rules will be settled as a loser.

For instance, selections on a team to win a match where the game finishes in a tie or draw, whether the final result has been determined with or without extra innings, and even where the draw or tie may not have been offered through Bet Builder, will be settled as losers. This will not be relevant to MLB as extra innings are played until a team wins, but may be applicable to other baseball leagues or competitions as per their individual competition rules. Similarly, ‘Race to X’ selections where neither team reaches the selected score will be settled as losers, regardless of whether a ‘neither team to reach X’ selection was available as an alternate selection or not.

If one or more selections in any bet are resulted as void due to the player(s) in question not participating in a game (as per section 4), the entire bet will be resulted as void. Selections voided for other reasons (typically game abandonment or postponements) will be resulted according to the rules outlined in sections 7 and 8 of these rules.

  1. EXTRA INNINGS

All baseball matches will be settled on the official declared result including any extra innings. All team and player statistics accrued during extra innings are included for the purposes of bet settlement.

  1. LISTED / DESIGNATED / NAMED PITCHERS

Bet Builder baseball bets do not include and are not reliant on listed/designated/named pitchers. If either or both originally announced starting pitchers in a game are scratched or replaced by other pitchers, prior to the match commencing and after any bets have been placed, those bets will stand. Where pitchers may have been listed in or relative to the display of any selections, these will be treated as indicative only, and will not affect or prevent the application of this rule. Selections specifically involving a pitcher who does not play (and therefore bets including those selections) will still be voided as per the rules for player-specific markets in section 4.

  1. PLAYER-SPECIFIC MARKETS

If a player does not participate in a match, selections specific to that player (and therefore the entire bet) will be void. This rule is applied as follows:

  1. Selections on hitting / batting markets will be active if the player in question gets at least one plate appearance. If the player does not appear at the plate, these selections will be treated as void.
  2. Selections on base stealing markets will be active if the player in question enters the game at any point. This includes making a plate appearance but also playing as a fielder, defensive substitute, pinch-runner, and so on. If the player does not enter the game in any such capacity at any point, these selections will be treated as void.
  3. Selections on pitching markets will be active if the player in question throws at least one pitch in the game. If the player does not do so, these selections will be treated as void.

Player selections will be considered active or void per the rules above, regardless of whether a selection may reference a specific period of a match. For instance, a selection on a certain player to get 1+ hits in the first 5 innings of a match would be active (and therefore settled as a loser) if that player only entered the game as a substitute after the 5th inning, and made his plate appearance(s) from that point. However, if that player was injured shortly before the game commenced, was withdrawn from the starting lineup (or bench) and thus did not make any plate appearances, the selection and therefore bet would be void.

  1. 7 INNINGS GAMES / DOUBLE HEADERS

Where baseball games have been originally scheduled prior to commencement to be played for fewer than 9 innings (e.g. 7 innings games for MLB double headers), matches will be settled as normal in accordance with these rules (i.e. treated as regular rather than reduced-innings matches).

  1. POSTPONED AND INCOMPLETE MATCHES

If a game does not commence on the scheduled calendar day of the officially listed start time (local stadium time), all bets on the match will be void.

If a game is suspended after it has commenced, and is then resumed within 36 hours (inclusive) of the original start time, all bets will stand.

If a game is suspended after it has commenced, and is resumed more than 36 hours after the original start time or not at all, it will be treated as an abandoned game and settled under the rules in sections 7 and 8 (all bets will be void apart from those which have already been irrevocably determined). This rule does not apply to playoff games; in the case of a suspended playoff or postseason tournament game, all bets will stand through any case of suspension, until the game is officially completed as per the relevant league/organisation.

  1. REDUCED-INNINGS MATCHES

Where baseball games are shortened after the match has commenced (e.g. innings reduced due to bad weather), they will be settled according to the following rules:

  1. Bets will be void if they include at least one selection involving a player who does not participate in the game, as per the rules outlined in section 4. The rules outlined below are all applied subject to and subsequent to the application of this rule.
  2. If every selection within a bet on the game is already a winner where the fact of reduced innings had no impact on the outcome of each selection, the bet in its entirety will be treated as a winner. For example, a 2-leg bet containing an over total runs selection and a certain player to hit a home run, in a game where the required runs total had been reached and the player did hit a home run, and where the match was played with reduced innings, will be treated as a winner. In this case, the game being played with reduced innings had no impact on either selection. The same would not apply to an under total runs selection where a game is shortened while the total score is still under the chosen number, as the reduced innings would impact that outcome.
  3. If a single selection of a bet has lost and a match is then shortened, the bet will be treated as a loser, where regardless of the fact of reduced innings, the selection(s) in question had been irrevocably concluded. For example, a bet including a first team to score selection, in a game where the other team scored first and the match was subsequently then played with reduced innings, will be treated as a loser. In this case, the bet had already lost, and this outcome could not be affected in any way by whether the game was subsequently shortened or not.
  4. If there are no losing selections within a bet and at least one void selection on a match where innings are reduced after commencement, the bet will be treated as void. This rule applies where one or more selections are effectively undecided after the reduced number of innings have been completed, and may still have won or lost if the full amount of innings had been completed as scheduled. For example, a bet including an over total runs selection, in a shortened game concluded while the total runs are still below the required amount, will be treated as void. In this case, the total runs selection was still undecided and may have won or lost but for the shortening of the match, so the selection and therefore bet will be voided.
  5. The only exception to the rules above is the Match Winner / Money Line / Head-to- Head market result. This will be settled according to the official league result of the match – if a game with reduced innings still ends in an official win/loss result per the relevant league, the Match Winner market will be settled as such.

Matches concluded after 8.5 innings (where the home team is ahead after 8.5 innings and the match is ended there) are not treated as shortened matches. They will be settled as per normal settlement rules and not by the rules presented in this section for matches with reduced innings. This also applies to games scheduled to be 7 innings which finish after 6.5 innings with the home team ahead.

  1. ABANDONED MATCHES

If a game is abandoned prior to commencement, it falls within the scheduled calendar day rule for postponed matches as described in section 6.

If a game is abandoned after commencing, but still ends with an official win/loss result per the relevant league/organisation, it will be settled under the rules in section 7 for reduced innings matches. This will include the settling of that official result under subsection 7.5.

If a game is abandoned after commencing and is not designated with an official win/loss result by the relevant league/organisation, it will be settled as per the rules in section 7 for reduced innings matches, but the Match Winner / Money Line / Head-to-Head market result will be settled as void.

  1. VENUE CHANGES

If the venue of a match is changed from the one originally scheduled, bets will stand if the original home and away teams remain designated as such. If the venue is changed and the home and away team designations are reversed, bets placed under the original home/away listing will be void.

BET BUILDER WAGERING RULES - BASKETBALL

  1. SELECTION AND BET RESULTS

All basketball SGM selections must win (no ties, draws or pushes) for a bet to be deemed a winner. A selection that does not win, unless explicitly specified within these rules, will be settled as a loser. If one or more selections in any bet are resulted as void for any reason (such as a selected player not participating in the match – see section 4), the entire bet will be resulted as void.

For instance, selections on a team to win a match where it is a draw after overtime (or normal time if no overtime is to be played), even where the draw or tie may not have been offered through Bet Builder, will be settled as losers. This will not be relevant to NBA or NBL matches as they play repeated overtime periods until a team wins, but may be applicable to other basketball leagues or competitions as per their individual competition rules. Similarly, ‘Race to X’ selections where neither team reaches the selected score will be settled as losers, regardless of whether a ‘neither team to reach X’ selection was available as an alternate selection or not.

  1. OVERTIME

All basketball matches will be settled on the official declared result including any overtime.

  1. SECOND HALF / FOURTH QUARTER MARKETS

All second half and fourth quarter market selections do include overtime periods if they occur. For example, a total second half points selection would include the points scored in both the second half and any overtime periods played.

  1. PLAYER-SPECIFIC MARKETS

All player selections will be considered active if a player enters the court as an active player at any point of the relevant match, regardless of whether the selection in question references a specific period of the match. If a player never enters the court during a match, selections specific to that player will be void. For instance, a selection on a certain player to score 10.5+ points in the second half would be active (and therefore settled as a loser) if that player played the first two minutes of a match, was injured, and did not return to the game, regardless of having never been on the court during the second half. However, if that player was injured shortly before the game commenced, was withdrawn from the starting lineup (or bench) and never took to the court, the selection and therefore bet would be void.

  1. SGMs will be void if they include at least one selection involving a player who has not yet entered the court as an active player. The rules outlined below are all applied subject to and subsequent to the application of this rule.
  2. If every selection within an SGM on the game is already a winner where the fact of abandonment had no impact on the outcome of each selection, the SGM in its entirety will be treated as a winner. For example, a 2-leg SGM containing an over total points selection and a certain player to score 10.5+ points, in a game where the required points have been reached and the player did score more than 10 points before the game was subsequently abandoned, will be treated as a winner.
For example, an SGM including a first player to score selection, in a game where a different player scored first and the match was subsequently then abandoned, will be treated as a loser.

BET BUILDER WAGERING RULES - CRICKET

  1. SELECTION AND BET RESULTS

All cricket SGM selections must win (no ties, draws or pushes) for a bet to be deemed a winner. A selection that does not win, unless explicitly specified within these rules will be settled as a loser. If one or more selections in any bet are resulted as void for any reason (such as a selected player not participating in the match – see section 4), the entire bet will be resulted as void.

For instance, selections on a team to win a match where the game finishes in a tie or draw, regardless of whether the final result has been determined with or without extra innings or Super Overs, and even where the tie or draw may not have been offered through Bet Builder, will be settled as losers. Similarly, ‘Team to hit most sixes’ selections where neither team hits a six will be settled as losers, regardless of whether a ‘Neither team will hit a six’ selection was available as an alternate selection or not. If an innings finishes without any wickets being taken, then wicket-taking selections such as ‘First wicket-taker’ for that innings will be settled as losers. ‘Dead heat’ results such as ‘Player to top-score for his/her team’, where the highest score on the team was jointly reached by two more or players, will likewise be settled as losers.

  1. EXTRA INNINGS / SUPER OVERS / ONE-OVER ELIMINATORS

Bet Builder bets placed on cricket matches are not inclusive of any extra innings, Super Overs, One- Over Eliminators, or equivalent methods for determining winners of tied matches. Match winner selections, along with all other markets, will be settled inclusive only of the regular match innings (i.e. 20 overs per team for Twenty20 games – if a match is tied and goes to a Super Over, the match will be settled as a tie, regardless of the outcome of the Super Over).

  1. REDUCED / LIMITED OVERS

Any reduced amount of play in a cricket match (one ball or more), due to weather or any other causes, will cause all currently active betslips to be voided. For the purposes of this rule, an active betslip is one that has not already achieved a settlement status at the time of the confirmation of reduced overs, as per the same parameters in Section 6 of these rules relating to betslips in abandoned matches.

  1. PLAYER-SPECIFIC MARKETS

All player selections will be considered active if a player participates as an active player at any point of the relevant match, regardless of whether the selection in question references a specific phase of the match (i.e. batting/fielding/bowling) that the player may not have participated in. If a player never participates in the match at any point as an active player, selections specific to that player (and therefore the entire bet as per Section 1) will be void. For instance, a selection on a certain player to hit a six or take a wicket would be active (and therefore settled as a loser) if that player only participated in the game as a substitute fielder, and did not bat or bowl in the match.

However, if that player was injured shortly before the game commenced, was withdrawn from the team and never took the field, or was an unused substitute, the selection and therefore bet would be void.

Matches where the start date/time has been altered well in advance (e.g. to ease fixture congestion) may not be classified as postponed, at Cloudbet’s discretion. Decisions made in this regard will be communicated to all clients by Cloudbet in a timely fashion.

  1. ABANDONED MATCHES

If a game is abandoned prior to commencement, it falls within the 24-hour rule for postponed matches as described above. If it is abandoned after commencing but before its natural end point, the following rules apply:

  1. SGMs will be void if they include at least one selection involving a player who has not yet entered the match as an active player. The rules outlined below are all applied subject to and subsequent to the application of this rule.
  2. If every selection within an SGM on the game is already a winner where the fact of abandonment had no impact on the outcome of each selection, the SGM in its entirety will be treated as a winner. For example, a 2-leg SGM containing an over total runs selection and a certain player to hit a six, where that runs total has been reached and the player in question did hit a six before the game was subsequently abandoned, will be treated as a winner. In this case, the abandonment had no impact on either selection. The same would not apply to an under total runs selection where a game is abandoned while the total score is still under the chosen number, as the abandonment would impact that outcome.
  3. If a single selection of an SGM has lost and a match is then abandoned, the SGM will be treated as a loser, where regardless of the fact of abandonment, the selection(s) in question had been irrevocably concluded. For example, an SGM including a team to win the toss selection, where the other team won it and the match was subsequently then abandoned, will be treated as a loser.
For example, an SGM including an over total runs selection, in a game abandoned while the total runs are still below the required amount, will be treated as void. In this case, the total runs selection was still undecided and may have won or lost but for the abandonment, so the bet will be voided.
  5. As per Section 3 of these rules, the parameters for betslips in abandoned matches also apply to matches where total overs are reduced. As such, at the time of confirmation of the reduction, bets where every selection has already won or at least one selection has irrevocably lost will be resulted as winners or losers respectively, and all other bets will be voided.
  6. VENUE CHANGES

If the venue of a match is changed from the one advertised, all bets on that match will be voided.

  1. SPECIFIC MARKET RULINGS
  2. Retired batsman – in the event of a batsman retiring for any reason, all relevant batting markets for the batsman will be settled on his or her runs scored at the time of their retirement (as if they had been dismissed by the fielding team).
  3. Total team runs – all team total run markets stand regardless of the outcome of the toss. For example, in a Twenty20 match, ‘Team A to score 150+ runs’ is settled (as a loser) even when Team B bats first and scores a total of 140 runs.
  4. Who will be top scorer/bat for their team/in the match? – As per Section 1, any ties or dead heats in these markets will be settled as losing selections. If an unquoted/unpriced player is the top scorer, all selections in these markets will be settled as losers.
  5. Who will take a wicket? – These markets concern bowlers taking wickets. Run outs will not be classified as wickets for either the relevant bowler or for the player who ran the batsman out. ‘Mankad’ run outs, whereby the bowler runs out the non-striking batsman prior to a delivery, do not count as wickets for the bowler.
  6. Who will hit a four/six? – A four or six is any individual ball which the batsman scores four or six runs from, whether via boundaries or by running between the wickets. These runs must be attributed to the batsman (i.e. extras are not included).
  7. A hat-trick to be taken in a match – A hat-trick is defined as a bowler successfully dismissing three batsmen with consecutive deliveries (with run outs not counting as dismissals for this purpose). The deliveries may be separated across different overs from the same bowler (e.g. wickets on the 5th and 6th balls of a bowler’s over, and another on the 1st ball of his very next over), but must be three consecutive deliveries by the same player.

BET BUILDER WAGERING RULES – ICE HOCKEY

  1. SELECTION AND BET RESULTS

All ice hockey SGM selections must win (no ties, draws or pushes) for a bet to be deemed a winner.

This will not be relevant to NHL matches as they advance to shootouts after a tied overtime period (regular season) or play open-ended sudden death overtime (playoffs), but may be applicable to other ice hockey leagues or competitions as per their individual competition rules. Similarly, ‘Race to X’ selections where neither team reaches the selected score will be settled as losers, regardless of whether a ‘neither team to reach X’ selection was available as an alternate selection or not. If a period finishes scoreless, then goalscoring selections such as First or Last Goalscorer for that period will be settled as losers.

  1. OVERTIME / SHOOTOUTS

All ice hockey matches will be settled on the official declared result including any overtime and shootouts. Goals scored in shootouts are disregarded for settlement purposes. The goal assigned to the score of a winning team after a shootout (e.g. the only goal in a game that finishes 0-0 after overtime and therefore 1-0 after the shootout) counts for the purposes of total game score and total team goal selections, but is not assigned to a player and does not count towards the settlement of any player scoring markets.

  1. THIRD PERIOD MARKETS

All third period market selections do include overtime and the resultant goal from shootouts if they occur. For example, a total third period goals selection would include the goals scored in both the third period and the winning goal from either overtime or resulting from the shootout.

  1. PLAYER-SPECIFIC MARKETS

All player selections will be considered active if a player takes to the rink as an active player at any point of the relevant match, regardless of whether the selection in question references a specific period of the match. If a player never enters the rink during a match, selections specific to that player will be void. For instance, a selection on a certain player to score in the third period would be active (and therefore settled as a loser) if that player played the first two minutes of a match, was injured, and did not return to the game, regardless of having never been on the ice during the third period. However, if that player was injured shortly before the game commenced, was withdrawn from the starting lineup (or bench) and never took the ice, the selection and therefore bet would be void.

  1. SGMs will be void if they include at least one selection involving a player who has not yet entered the rink as an active player. The rules outlined below are all applied subject to and subsequent to the application of this rule.
  2. If every selection within an SGM on the game is already a winner where the fact of abandonment had no impact on the outcome of each selection, the SGM in its entirety will be treated as a winner. For example, a 2-leg SGM containing an over total goals selection and a certain player to score, in a game where the required goals have been reached and the player did score before the game was subsequently abandoned, will be treated as a winner. In this case, the abandonment had no impact on either selection. The same would not apply to an under total goals selection where a game is abandoned while the total score is still under the chosen number, as the abandonment would impact that outcome.
  3. If a single selection of an SGM has lost and a match is then abandoned, the SGM will be treated as a loser, where regardless of the fact of abandonment, the selection(s) in question had been irrevocably concluded. For example, an SGM including a first team to score selection, in a game where the other team scored first and the match was subsequently then abandoned, will be treated as a loser.
For example, an SGM including an over total goals selection, in a game abandoned while the total goals are still below the required amount, will be treated as void. In this case, the total goals selection was still undecided and may have won or lost but for the abandonment, so the bet will be voided.
  5. VENUE CHANGES

If the venue of a match is changed from the one advertised, all bets on that match will be voided.

BET BUILDER WAGERING RULES - NCAAF

  1. SELECTION AND BET RESULTS

All NCAAF SGM selections must win (no ties, draws or pushes) for a bet to be deemed a winner. A selection that does not win, unless explicitly specified within these rules, will be settled as a loser.

For instance, ‘Race to X’ selections where neither team reaches the selected score will be settled as losers, regardless of whether a ‘neither team to reach X’ selection was available as an alternate selection or not. If a quarter, half or match finishes scoreless, then touchdown or point-scoring selections for that period (e.g. Player to Score a 1st Half Touchdown) will be settled as losers.

If one more selections in any bet are resulted as void due to the player(s) in question not participating in a game (as per section 4), the entire bet will be resulted as void. Selections voided for other reasons (typically game abandonment or postponement) will be resulted according to the rules outlined in section 6 of these rules.

  1. OVERTIME

All NCAAF matches will be settled on the official declared result including any overtime.

  1. SECOND HALF / FOURTH QUARTER MARKETS

All second half and fourth quarter market selections do include overtime if it occurs. For example, a total second half points selection would include the points scored in both the second half and overtime.

  1. PLAYER-SPECIFIC MARKETS

All player selections will be considered active if a player participates in at least one play at any point of the relevant match, regardless of whether the selection in question references a specific period of the match. If a player does not participate in a single play during a match, selections specific to that player will be void. For instance, a selection on a certain player to score a touchdown in the second half would be active (and therefore settled as a loser) if that player participated in the first play of the match, was injured, and did not return to the game, regardless of having never been on the field during the second half. However, if that player was injured shortly before the game commenced and did not participate in any plays whatsoever, the selection and therefore bet would be void.

  1. POSTPONED AND INCOMPLETE MATCHES

If a match is postponed or incomplete, all bets will stand if the game is subsequently resumed or played within the same scheduling week of the NCAAF schedule as the originally scheduled start time. All bets placed on games which are postponed and commence outside their originally designated scheduling week will be void, and stakes will be refunded.

  1. ABANDONED MATCHES

If a game is abandoned prior to commencement, it falls within the same scheduling week rule for postponed matches as described above. If it is halted during play, and then resumed and completed during the same scheduling week, all bets will stand also as per section 5. If a game is halted after commencing but prior to completion, and it is not resumed and completed within the same scheduling week, the following rules apply:

  1. SGMs will be void if they include at least one selection involving a player who has not yet been on the field for at least one play. The rules outlined below are all applied subject to and subsequent to the application of this rule.
  2. If every selection within an SGM on the game is already a winner where the fact of abandonment had no impact on the outcome of each selection, the SGM in its entirety will be treated as a winner. For example, a 2-leg SGM containing an over total points selection and a certain player to score a touchdown, in a game where the required points have been reached and the player did score a touchdown before the game was subsequently abandoned, will be treated as a winner.
For example, an SGM including a first team to score selection, in a game where the other team scored first and the match was subsequently then abandoned, will be treated as a loser.

BET BUILDER WAGERING RULES – SOCCER

  1. SELECTION AND BET RESULTS

All soccer SGM selections must win (no ties, draws or pushes) for a bet to be deemed a winner. A selection that does not win, unless explicitly specified within these rules, will be settled as a loser. If one or more selections in any bet are resulted as void for any reason (such as a selected player not participating in the match – see section 4), the entire bet will be resulted as void.

For instance, a ‘Team A to win in extra time’ selection in a match that did not advance to extra time would be settled as a loser, as would a ‘Team to get most corners’ selection where both teams record the same number of corners. If a half, full match or relevant period of a match finishes scoreless, then goal-scoring selections such as ‘First player to score’ for that period will be settled as losers.

  1. EXTRA TIME / PENALTIES

Bet Builder bets placed on soccer apply exclusively to the 90 minutes of regulation time plus injury time, unless it is explicitly stated the bet applies to extra time and/or penalties. Where such wording does exist, it will be applied on a selection-by-selection basis; that is, the remaining selections of the bet will be settled on the regulation plus injury time result. In the absence of such wording, bets will be settled on the match result after the 90 minutes of regulation time plus injury time. As such, a match tied after regulation and injury time, where one team goes on to win in either extra time or penalties, will be settled with the match result of a draw. Match officials determine whether the full 90 minutes and injury time is to be played or has been played.

  1. DETERMINATION OF RESULTS / MATCH EVENTS

All markets will be settled on the result and events of a match as per the most authoritative immediately available sources. Resettling of markets may be undertaken at Cloudbet’s discretion where those sources contained errors that were later amended, but substantive retrospective changes to match results, such as dubious goals panels or results being reversed or overturned due to ineligible players, will not alter settlement of Bet Builder markets.

  1. PLAYER-SPECIFIC MARKETS

If a player never enters the field of play during a match as an active player (i.e. a member of the starting eleven, or a substitute brought onto the pitch), selections specific to that player, and therefore the entire bet as per section 1, will be void. This rule refers to any player-related markets involving goals, cards, or any other individual statistics, and is supplemented by the period-related player selection rules in section 5.

  1. BET PERIOD RULES

The periods below (1 – 6) are sections of matches that can be selected in conjunction with the markets listed in section 9. They are settled as per the following parameters:

  1. 90 mins – This refers to the 90 regulation minutes of a match, plus injury time. Match officials determine whether the full 90 minutes and injury time is to be played or has been played. Any event occurring before the official start of the match, during the half time break (any time after the whistle for half time and before the start of the second half) or after the final whistle do not count.
  2. 1st 10 mins - This refers to the first 10 minutes of the match (00:00 to 09:59). Corners, penalties or free kicks awarded in this period but not taken until after 10:00 will not count. Any event that occurs after 10:00 or later within the match will not count. Any event occurring before the official start of the match does not count.
  3. 1st half - This refers to the first half of the match only, including any injury time minutes played within it. Any event occurring before the official start of the match or during the half time break (any time after the whistle for half time) will not count.
  4. 2nd half - This refers to the second half of the match only, including any injury time minutes played within it. Any event occurring before the second half (first half or during the half time break) or after the final whistle will not count.
  5. Each half - This refers to an event happening in both halves of the match. If the chosen event happens in neither half, or within only one half of the match, this will be deemed a losing selection. Any event occurring before the official start of the match or during the half time break (any time after the whistle for half time and before the start of the second half) or after the final whistle will not count.
  6. 1. ‘Each half’ player-related selections will stand if the player participates in any part of the first half of the match. If the player does not participate in the first half, then ‘each half’ player selections will be voided.
  7. Either half - This refers to an event happening in one or both halves of the match. If the chosen event does not happen within the match this will be deemed a losing selection. Any event occurring before the official start of the match, during the half time break (any time after the whistle for half time and before the start of the second half) or after the final whistle will not count.
  8. 1. ‘Either half’ player-related selections will stand if the player participates in the match at any point. For example, a selection on a player to score in either half will be settled as a winner if they score in the first half, but are substituted at half time or earlier, and do not participate in the second half at all. Either half selections on a player who does not participate in the match at all will be voided.
  9. POSTPONED AND INCOMPLETE MATCHES

Where a match is postponed or incomplete, and subsequently resumed or played within 48 hours (inclusive) of the originally scheduled start time, all bets will stand. All bets placed on games played which commence more than 48 hours past the originally scheduled start time will be void. Once the 48 hours have expired, all bets are void and stakes will be refunded. Matches which have had their start time altered well in advance of their scheduled commencement (e.g. to accommodate live TV or tournament requirements, or to ease fixture congestion) may not be classified at postponed, at Cloudbet’s discretion. Cloudbet will inform all clients in a timely fashion of all instances in which such discretion has been applied.

  1. ABANDONED MATCHES

Matches will be deemed as abandoned if they commence, but then do not reach their natural conclusion within 48 hours of the originally scheduled start time. Per section 6, matches where a referee removes the players from the field of play for a period of time, but the remaining minutes of play take place within 48 hours of the original start time, will not be regarded as abandoned.

If a match is abandoned prior to commencement, it falls within the 48-hour rule for postponed matches as described in section 6. If it is abandoned after commencing but before its natural end point, the following rules apply:

  1. SGMs will be void if they include at least one selection involving a player who has not yet participated in the match as an active player. The rules outlined below are all applied subject to and subsequent to the application of this rule.
  2. If every selection within an SGM on the match is already a winner where the fact of abandonment had no impact on the outcome of each selection, the SGM in its entirety will be treated as a winner. For example, a 2-leg SGM containing an over total goals selection and a certain player to score, in a game where the required goals total had been reached and the player did score before the game was subsequently abandoned, will be treated as a winner. In this case, the abandonment had no impact on either selection. The same would not apply to an under total goals selection where a match is abandoned while the total goals are still under the chosen number, as the abandonment would impact that outcome.
For example, an SGM including an over total goals selection, in a game abandoned while the total goals are still below the required amount, will be treated as void. In this case, the total goals selection was still undecided and may have won or lost but for the abandonment, so the bet will be voided.
  5. VENUE CHANGES AND NEUTRAL VENUES

If the venue of a match is changed from the one advertised, all bets on that match will be voided.

For matches played at a neutral venue, all bets will stand regardless of the order in which the teams are listed, and of whether or not the game is or had been explicitly listed as being played at a neutral venue.

  1. SPECIFIC MARKET RULINGS
  2. Who will win? – You are betting on the result, i.e. Team A, Draw or Team B.
  3. Who will score? – You are betting on whether a nominated player will score a goal. Own goals do not count towards this market.
  4. Who will get carded? – You are betting on whether the nominated player will receive a yellow or red card. Only cards shown to players currently on the pitch within the match will count. Cards shown to managers, players on the bench or after the match do not count.
  5. How many match/team corners? – You are betting on whether the total number of corners will be above or below the numbers quoted. Only corners that are taken will count. Corners that are indicated as given but subsequently not taken will not count. If a corner is retaken, it will only count as one corner. Corners in extra time do not count towards the total.
  6. How many team goals? – You are betting on how many goals a nominated team will score. Own goals committed by the opposing team are included in the settling of this market.
  7. How many match/team booking points? - You are betting on whether the total number of booking points is above or below the stated total. Cards issued in extra time do not count towards the total, nor do booking points received before kick-off and/or after the final whistle. Only cards shown to players currently on the pitch will count. Cards shown to managers or substitutes do not count towards the total.
  8. 1. Yellow card = 10 & red card = 25 booking points respectively. If a player receives 2 yellow cards and is consequently shown a red card, the player receives a total of 35 booking points.
  9. How many match/team cards? – You are betting on whether the total number of cards is above, below or equal to the stated total. Extra time does not count towards the total nor do booking points received before kick-off and/or after the final whistle. Only cards shown to players currently on the pitch will count. Cards shown to managers or substitutes do not count towards the total.
  10. 1. Yellow card = 1 & red card = 2 respectively for the purposes of this market. If a player receives 2 yellow cards and is consequently shown a red card, the player receives a total of 3 cards. No player can receive more than 3 cards for settlement purposes. A player receiving a yellow card then a straight red card receives 3 cards for settlement purposes. A straight red on its own counts as 2 cards for settlement purposes.
  11. What else will happen/What else will happen to a team? – You are betting on whether a nominated event will occur either in the match or to a selected team respectively, such as:
  12. 1. Penalty awarded – Whether a penalty will be taken (and subsequently missed/scored). Penalties awarded but rescinded, for any reason, and subsequently are not taken will not be deemed a winning selection.
    1. Penalty missed – Whether a penalty will be missed. This is any penalty taken that does not result in a goal from that kick directly. If a penalty is ordered to be retaken, the original penalty will not count towards any official settlement. Only a completed penalty outcome is applicable. If a penalty rebounds from either the woodwork or the goalkeeper and is touched again before a goal is awarded, this will be deemed as a miss.
    2. Penalty scored – Whether a penalty will be scored. This is any penalty taken that results in a goal directly from this kick. If a penalty rebounds from either the woodwork or the goalkeeper and is touched again before a goal is awarded, this will be deemed as a miss. Penalties awarded but rescinded and subsequently not taken will not be deemed a winning selection.
    3. 2+ penalties awarded – Whether two, or more, penalties will be taken (and subsequently missed/scored). Penalties awarded but rescinded and subsequently not taken will not be deemed as a penalty awarded.
    4. 2+ penalties scored – Whether two, or more, penalties will be scored. Penalties scored but ordered to be retaken, the original penalty will not count.
    5. Free kick goal – Whether a free kick will be scored. Any bets involving free kick goals must be scored directly from a free kick. Penalties do not count. The player taking the free kick must be the scorer of the goal.
    6. Header goal – Whether a header will be scored over the course of the match. A headed goal is a goal that is classed as coming off the player’s head or shoulder, whether it is intentional or not. Own goals are excluded.
    7. Outside box goal – Whether a goal will be scored from outside of the 18-yard box/penalty area. Own goals are excluded. Any other method of goal scored from outside of the penalty area will count, including free kicks.
    8. Own goal – Whether an own goal will be scored.
    9. Sending off – Whether a player is sent off. Only cards awarded once the player is active in the match will count. Any cards shown after the final whistle do not count. A player to be sent off is settled as a winner for any active player that receives a red card, whether that is a straight red card or because of two yellow cards. If the red card is retracted, by VAR or otherwise, then this will not count as a winning selection.
    10. Woodwork – Whether the frame of the goal is hit during active play. Instances where the ball hits the woodwork which result directly in a goal do not count as woodwork being hit.
    11. Go to extra time – Whether the match will go to extra time after the 90 minutes, in applicable matches where extra time can be played.
    12. Go to penalties – Whether the match will go to penalties/a penalty shootout, in applicable matches where penalties can be played.
    13. Team clean sheet – Whether your nominated team will keep a clean sheet. For example, 0-0, 1-0 to your team, 2-0 to your team etc, would be winning outcomes.
    14. First/last team to score – Which team will score the first or last goal. Rescinded and/or disallowed goals do not count. If no goals are scored in the match, these markets will be resulted as losers.
    15. First/last corners – Which teams will be awarded and subsequently take the first/last corner in the match. If no corners are awarded in the specified period, these markets will be resulted as losers.
    16. Most corners – Which team will take the most corners in the match. If the corner count is tied at the end of the match, this selection will be resulted as a loser.
    17. First/last cards – Which team will be awarded the last card, yellow or red, in the match. If no cards are awarded in the specified period, these markets will be resulted as losers.
    18. Most booking points/most cards – Which team will receive the most booking points or cards in the match. If no cards are awarded in a match, or the booking point/card counts are tied at the end of a match, these markets will be settled as losers.
    19. Team woodwork – Whether the frame of the goal is hit by that team during active play. A team woodwork will still count if it is the defending team hitting their own woodwork with the ball. Instances where the ball hits the woodwork which result directly in a goal do not count as woodwork being hit.
  13. Which player will score first/last? – You are betting on which player will score the first/last goal within the match.
  14. 1. Own goals do not count. For example, if you have selected a player to score the first goal in the match and the first goal was an own goal, then the bet will be settled on the next goal that is scored. In this same scenario the scorer of the first goal that is not an own goal will be settled as the first goal scorer.
    1. In relation to ‘Which player will score first’, if your player has not participated in the match at the point the first goal is scored, selections will be made void.
    2. In relation to ‘Which player will score last’, If your player has participated in the match before or during the time the last goal is scored, related selections will stand.
    3. If no goals or only own goals have been scored in a match, first and last goal scorer markets will be settled as losers, if the selected player(s) participated in the relevant periods of the match as described above.
  15. How many player goals? – You are betting on whether the nominated player will score 1+/2+ or 3+ goals in the match. Own goals are excluded.
  16. How will a player score? – You are betting on the method by which the nominated player will score, with the following options available (own goals are excluded for all):
  17. 1. Header – the nominated player scores a goal that is classed as coming off the player’s head or shoulder, whether it is intentional or not.
    1. Free kick - the nominated player scores a direct free kick for their own team.
    2. Outside of the box – the nominated player scores from outside of the 18-yard box/penalty area for their own team. A free kick scored from outside of the box counts as a winning selection.
    3. Penalty – the nominated player scores a penalty for their own team. The goal must be scored directly from this penalty. A rebound from a penalty will not be classified as a goal scored by penalty.
  18. Who will get carded or sent off? – You are betting on (for the carded element) whether a nominated player will receive a yellow or red card. For the sent off element, you are betting on whether a nominated player will receive a red card. Only cards awarded once the player is active in the match will count. Cards shown to players or officials who do not constitute active on-field players do not count. Any cards shown before kick-off, after the final whistle or during the half time period do not count. A player to be sent off is settled on any active player that receives a red card, whether that is a straight red card or two yellow cards and is therefore subsequently shown a red card.
  19. What is the double chance? – You are betting on the match (or specified period) ending in one of the two displayed outcomes. For example, Team A/Draw would require the match (or specified period) to end with either Team A winning or a draw in order to be a winning selection.
  20. Who will be ahead at half time / full time? – You are betting on the result of the match at half- time and at full-time. Both need to be correct in order for this to be a winning selection.
  21. How will a team win? – You are betting on different markets relating to how a team will win, including:
  22. 1. Winning margin – By what margin the nominated team will win by.
    1. Win to nil – Whether the nominated team wins to nil. For example, your nominated team winning 1-0, 2-0 etc would result in this being a winning selection.
    2. Win from behind – Whether the nominated team wins the match (or specified period) after having been behind by at least one goal at any point within that period.
    3. Win in extra time – Whether your nominated team wins the match in extra time. Your team must win the extra time period (2 x 15 minutes plus injury time, unless otherwise stated). If the match does not go to extra time, this market will be settled as a loser.
    4. Win on penalties – Whether your nominated team wins the match after penalties/a penalty shootout. If the match does not go to penalties, this market will be settled as a loser.
    5. Qualify – Whether your nominated team qualifies to the next round of fixtures in the specified tournament/cup/league.
  23. SOCCER STATISTICS DEFINITIONS
  24. Shots (Match, Team & Player) - Classified as an intentional and clear attempt at the oppositions goal. This includes all shots on target, shots off target & blocked shots.
  25. Shots on target (Match, Team & Player) - An intentional attempt at the oppositions goal that either:
  26. 1. Goes into the net and results in a goal
    1. Is a clear attempt to score, that would have otherwise gone into the net, but was saved by the goalkeeper
    2. Is a clear attempt to score, that would have otherwise gone into the net, but was stopped by a defending player who is the last player
    3. Is pushed onto the frame (post or bar) of the goal by the goalkeeper
  27. Shots off target (Match, Team & Player) - An intentional attempt at goal that either:
  28. 1. Goes over or wide of the goal without making any contact with another player

The tackled player must have clear possession of the ball before the tackle is made to constitute a tackle. It is not a tackle when a player cuts out an intended pass or loses control of the ball. A foul is not classed as a tackle.
  30. Offsides (Match, Team & Player) - When a player is deemed to be in an offside position and a subsequent free kick is awarded to the opposing team. If two or more players are in an offside position when the pass is played, the player considered to be closest or has attempted to touch the ball or interfere with play is given offside.
  31. Assists (Match, Team & Player) - The final touch leading to the recipient of the ball scoring a goal. Own goals, penalties or free kick goals do not have assists awarded. If a shot at goal is either saved by a goalkeeper, stopped/blocked by a defending player or hits the woodwork, the initial shot is not considered an assist. Deflected passes can still be considered an assist, providing the pass is complete and the following shot is a goal.
  32. Passes (Match, Team & Player) - An intentional ball played from one player of a team to another player in that same team. These also include: corners, throw ins, free kicks, kick-offs, goal kicks, goalkeeper throws.  These include passes made at all heights.

  34. Throw-ins (Match & Team) - Any throw-in must be successfully taken to count, throw-ins awarded but not taken do not count.
  35. Fouls Committed (Match, Team & Player) - Any infringement that is penalised as foul play by the referee. Offsides are not counted towards fouls committed. Incidents where advantage is played do not count towards the total fouls committed count, even when a player is subsequently cautioned. A free-kick or penalty must be given in order for it to count as a foul committed.
  36. Fouls Won (Match, Team & Player) - A foul won is defined as where a player wins a free kick or penalty for their team after being fouled by an opposition player. No foul is won for a handball, dive, back pass, illegal restart, dissent towards officials, GK 6-second violation or obstruction where a free kick is conceded.
  37. Goal methods (Match & Team)
  38. 1. Penalty taken - Whether a penalty will be taken. Penalties awarded but rescinded and subsequently not taken will not be deemed a winning selection. Only a completed penalty outcome is applicable.
    1. Penalty missed - Whether a penalty will be missed. This is any penalty taken that does not result in a goal from that kick. Missed penalties that are then re-taken do not count. Only a completed penalty outcome is applicable. If a penalty rebounds from either the woodwork or the goalkeeper and is touched again before a goal is awarded, this will be deemed as a miss.
    2. Penalty scored - Whether a penalty will be scored by the nominated team. If a penalty rebounds from either the woodwork or the goalkeeper and is touched again before a goal is awarded, this will be deemed as a miss. Penalties scored but ordered to be retaken, the original penalty will not count.
    3. 2+ penalties taken - Whether two, or more, penalties will be taken. Penalties awarded but rescinded and subsequently not taken will not be deemed as a penalty awarded.
    4. 2+ penalties scored - Whether two, or more, penalties will be scored by the nominated team. Penalties scored but ordered to be retaken, the original penalty will not count.
    5. Free kick goal - Whether a free kick will be scored by the nominated team. Any bets involving free kick goals must be scored directly from a free kick. Penalties do not count.
    6. Header goal - Whether a header will be scored. A headed goal is a goal that is classed as coming off the player’s head, whether it is intentional or not. Own goals are excluded.
    7. Outside box goal - Whether a goal will be scored from outside of the 18-yard box/penalty area by the nominated team. Own goals are excluded. Any goal from outside of the box will be classed as a winner, intentional or not. Free kicks are included.
  39. How will a player score? - You are betting on the method by which the nominated player will score, with the following options available (own goals are excluded for all):
  40. 1. Header – the nominated player scores a goal that is classed as coming off the player’s head, whether it is intentional or not.
    1. Free kick - the nominated player scores a direct free kick for their own team.
    2. Outside of the box – the nominated player scores from outside of the 18-yard penalty area for their own team. A free kick scored from outside of the box counts as a winning selection.
    3. Penalty – the nominated player scores a penalty for their own team. The goal must be scored directly from this penalty. A re-bound from a penalty will not be classified as a goal scored by penalty.

BET BUILDER WAGERING RULES - TENNIS

  1. SELECTION AND BET RESULTS

All Tennis SGM selections must win (no ties, draws or pushes) for a bet to be deemed a winner. A selection that does not win, unless explicitly specified within these rules, will be settled as a loser.

For instance, ‘How many player aces in match?’ selections where player does not reach the selected Aces number will be settled as losers

If one or more selections in any bet are resulted as void due to the player(s) in question not participating in a game (as per section 4), the entire bet will be resulted as void. Selections voided for other reasons (typically game abandonment or postponement) will be resulted according to the rules outlined in section 6 of these rules.

If penalty point(s) are awarded by the umpire, all bets on that game will stand.

  3. *Final Set Tiebreak to 10 (Super/Match Tiebreak) - Is undertaken when players have won a set each (1-1) and final set is decided by super tie break. Regular gameplay of 6 games all (6-6)  to decide a tiebreak is not enforced in this instance, where a tiebreak is played as the first game of the final set. Same Tiebreak rules to 10 points apply to a Match Tiebreak scenario. Once match tiebreak has been decided the score in final set will be 7-6, however this only counts as one game for all “games” markets. Match tiebreak will not count toward any total match, set or player tiebreak markets. *Mostly applies to Exhibition or regular Doubles tournaments

WTA Women’s Tournaments (Singles & Doubles)

  1. Regular Tie Break to 7 - Is undertaken when set score is 6 games all (6-6). First to seven (7) points (Unless advantage of 2 points has not been achieved – set will continue until player/team has reached at least 7 points and with advantage of 2 points). Every tie break counts as 1 game. Tiebreak markets to be settled to result each point*, game, set and match markets. *Tie break points will not be counted for total game points markets.
  2. Final Set Tiebreak to 10 - Is undertaken when set score is 6 games all (6-6) in the final set. Final set tiebreak come into effect at all grand slam tournaments for men and women (E.g. When 1 set all for women – best of 3 sets). First to ten (10) points (Unless advantage of 2 points has not been achieved – set will continue until player has reached at least 10 points and with advantage of 2 points). Every tie break counts as 1 game. Tiebreak markets to be settled to result each point*, game, set and match markets. *Tie break points will not be counted for total game points markets.
  3. **Final Set Tiebreak to 10 (Super/Match Tiebreak) - Is undertaken when players have won a set each (1-1) and final set is decided by super tie break. **Mostly applies to Exhibition or regular Doubles tournaments
  4. SET MARKETS

All set market selections include the tie break if scenario occurs. For example, Set 1 total aces selection would include total aces scored in the 1st set including the tiebreak.

  1. PLAYER-SPECIFIC MARKETS

All player selections will be considered active after first point of the match is played. If player was to retire hurt/walkover before the match, selections specific to that player and match will be void (See Section 5). However, if scenarios had already occurred before Player retired, then those bets would be resulted as usual. For instance, a selection on player A to win 1st Set, where Player A wins 1st Set, but then goes on to retire hurt in the 2nd set and did not return to the game, this bet would be a winner. However, if bet was for Player A to win 2nd Set, this bet would be resulted as void. (See Section 6 for more examples)

  1. POSTPONED, DELAYED AND INCOMPLETE MATCHES

If there is a change to the schedule or the day of the event, then the event’s start-time will be updated, and the markets will be left open.

If a match is postponed or incomplete, all bets will stand if the game is subsequently resumed during the tournament.

In case of any delay in the start of a match or a suspension (rain, darkness etc.) all markets remain unsettled and all bets will be settled after the match is resumed and completed.

In the event of a match starting but not being completed due to retirement or disqualification of any player or team, all undecided bets (including those on match winner market) are considered void. Bets on decided markets stand and are settled

  1. ABANDONED MATCHES

If a game is abandoned prior to commencement, and it falls within the same tournament rule for postponed matches, then follow rules as described above. If it is halted during play, and then resumed and completed, all bets will stand also as per section 5. E.g. If Player A wins 1st Set, and then Player B retires at the conclusion of the 1st Set, then all bets made on 1st Set will be resulted and settled as usual. If Player A wins 1st Set, then Player B retires during 2nd Set, where score in 2nd Set is 3-2, then markets for 2nd Set will be void, unless decided results have already occurred)

If a game is halted after commencing but prior to completion, and it is not resumed and completed during the scheduled tournament, the following rules apply:

  1. SGMs will be void if they include at least one selection involving a player who retires hurt or walkover. The rules outlined below are all applied subject to and subsequent to the application of this rule.
  2. If every selection within an SGM on the game is already a winner where the fact of abandonment had no impact on the outcome of each selection, the SGM in its entirety will be treated as a winner. For example, a 2-leg SGM containing an over total match games selection and a certain player to have X aces, in a game where the required games have been reached and the player did have X aces before the game was subsequently abandoned, will be treated as a winner. In this case, the abandonment had no impact on either selection. The same would not apply to an under total games selection where a game is abandoned while the total score is still under the chosen number, as the abandonment would impact that outcome.
  3. If a single selection of an SGM has lost and a match is then abandoned, the SGM will be treated as a loser, where regardless of the fact of abandonment, the selection(s) in question had been irrevocably concluded. For example, an SGM including a first player to have ace selection, in a game where the other player had an ace first and the match was subsequently then abandoned, will be treated as a loser.
For example, an SGM including an over total match games selection, in a game abandoned while the total games are still below the required amount, will be treated as void. In this case, the total points selection was still undecided and may have won or lost but for the abandonment, so the bet will be voided.
  5. VENUE OR SURFACE CHANGES

If the venue or surface of a match is changed from the one advertised, all bets on that match will be voided.
