FEARSHOT: Phantom Mansion
by CloudbetOnce a magnificent estate known for its lavish parties, Phantom Mansion is now haunted by restless spirits. At the center of the mystery is the Wailing Widow, a wealthy aristocrat whose family was destroyed by a conspiracy led by the ruthless Head Mistress. Seeking vengeance, the Widow summoned powerful demons through forbidden rituals, but the magic went horribly wrong, trapping everyone within the mansion and sealing away her vast fortune behind a supernatural curse. You enter as a supernatural bounty hunter armed with the Phantom Blaster, a weapon that uses ancient alchemy to transform captured spirit energy into gold. Hunt ghosts, defeat the demons, break the curse, and claim the mansion’s hidden fortune.

Every capture also sends the ghost's soul into the Soul Collector, a jar that overflows into a second win of 2× to 999× your bet. In the final room, the Secret Altar, any shot can summon the boss, Sister Penance, for a fight worth up to 350×.
Fearshot runs at a 97% RTP, with bets from $0.01 to $588.58 per shot. One shot can pay up to 1,699× your bet, with a maximum win of $1,000,000 per bet.

What is Fearshot: Phantom Mansion?
Fearshot: Phantom Mansion is a ghost hunt on rails. The rail carries you through seven rooms in a fixed order: the Grand Foyer, Toy Room, Library, Boiler Room, Kitchen, Dining Hall and Secret Altar. Each of the six regular rooms has two stops, and you shoot during the stops. After the boss fight in the Secret Altar, the journey starts again at the Grand Foyer.
Every shot works the same way:
- Aim at a ghost and fire. Each shot is one bet, and shots are placed one at a time.
- Capture the ghost and you're paid your bet times its multiplier. A miss pays nothing.
- The captured ghost's soul flies into the Soul Collector, and the level in the jar rises.
The higher a ghost's multiplier, the less often it is captured, so your aim is how you choose your risk. The Phantom Blaster also changes its look with the size of your bet.
The story behind the hunt
Phantom Mansion was once known for its lavish parties. At its final grand dinner, the ruthless Head Mistress had her own son and granddaughter poisoned. Her grieving daughter-in-law, the Wailing Widow, summoned demons for revenge, and the ritual went horribly wrong. It trapped everyone inside the mansion and sealed the Widow's fortune behind a curse. You enter as a supernatural bounty hunter whose Phantom Blaster turns captured spirit energy into gold.
Fearshot: Phantom Mansion ghosts and multipliers
Nine ghosts can be captured in the mansion: seven standard ghosts and two special characters, the Wailing Widow and the Inquisitor. Each room has its own main characters, so the multipliers on offer change as the rail moves you through the mansion.
| Ghost | Pays | Main room | Who they are |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wailing Widow | 1.1× per hit | Any room except the Secret Altar | The grieving mother whose rituals cursed the mansion |
| The Drowned | 1.3× | Grand Foyer | A young servant girl, drowned in the garden well |
| Goodnight Dolly | 1.5× | Toy Room | The Widow's daughter, her soul bound to a porcelain doll |
| Charley Chatterbox | 2× | Toy Room | The Widow's husband, trapped inside a ventriloquist dummy |
| M. T. Woe | 3× | Library | A gloomy poet, poisoned to keep him silent |
| Mr. Razorburn | 5× | Boiler Room | The groundskeeper the Widow had burned alive |
| Chef DeVour | 12× | Kitchen | The French chef, poisoned by his own deadly feast |
| Head Mistress | 35× | Dining Hall | The matriarch who ordered the poisoning |
| The Inquisitor | 350× | Any room except the Grand Foyer | A demon of pain who imprisoned the mansion's souls |
Key features of Fearshot: Phantom Mansion
| Feature | Description |
|---|---|
| Ghost captures | Every shot is one bet on one ghost. A capture pays your bet times the ghost's multiplier, from 1.1× to 350×. A miss pays nothing. |
| Soul Collector | Every captured soul raises the level in the jar, and more valuable souls raise it more. When the jar fills, it overflows and pays a Soul Collector Win of 2× to 999×, on top of the capture. |
| Wailing Widow | Appears at random in any room except the Secret Altar. For a few seconds she is the only target, and every hit pays 1.1× and sends a wisp of her soul into the jar. |
| The Inquisitor | The hardest ghost in the mansion to capture, paying 350×. Capturing him always overflows the Soul Collector, with his own larger prizes. |
| Secret Altar | The seventh room has no time limit. Captures are harder there, the Inquisitor can appear but the Wailing Widow never does, and any shot can summon the boss. |
| Sister Penance boss fight | Seven Bailiffs, each paying 0× or 1.0× to 50×, for a fight total of up to 350×. The total is paid whether or not she is defeated. |
Soul Collector Win in Fearshot: Phantom Mansion
The Soul Collector is a jar on the right-hand side of the screen. It fills with every capture, overflows automatically, reveals its prize and then starts again empty. You never press anything extra to collect a Soul Collector Win.
| Trigger | Prize range | How it works |
|---|---|---|
| Standard overflow | 2× to 999× | The jar fills from captured souls and pays one of 25 prizes. Small prizes are common and large ones rare. |
| Inquisitor capture, regular rooms | 20× to 999× | Capturing the Inquisitor always overflows the jar, using his own larger prize set. |
| Inquisitor capture, Secret Altar | 25× to 999× | The same guaranteed overflow, with a higher minimum prize. |
The 25 standard Soul Collector prizes are 2×, 2.5×, 3×, 3.5×, 4×, 4.5×, 5×, 6×, 7×, 8×, 9×, 10×, 12×, 15×, 20×, 25×, 30×, 40×, 50×, 75×, 100×, 150×, 250×, 500× and 999×. Bailiffs in the boss fight do not feed the Soul Collector.
Bonus game: the Sister Penance boss fight
| Mode | Trigger | Shots | Special rules |
|---|---|---|---|
| Boss fight | Any shot in the Secret Altar, capture or miss | Seven free, automatic shots at her Bailiffs | Each Bailiff pays 0× or 1.0× to 50×. A total of 10.4× or more defeats her. The total is paid either way, up to 350×. |
Once Sister Penance is summoned, the other ghosts disappear and the view turns to the altar. The fight plays out like this:
- You start the fight. It does not begin until you do.
- Each Bailiff is hit in turn. A collected Bailiff adds 1.0× to 50× to the fight total, and one that is not collected reveals 0×.
- A bar shows the running total, with a mark at 10.4×, the amount needed to defeat Sister Penance.
- After the seventh Bailiff, the fight total is paid and the journey restarts at the Grand Foyer.
When one shot in the Secret Altar wins several things, they play in order: the capture, then the Soul Collector Win, then the boss fight. Everything the shot wins is paid as one result.
Biggest wins in Fearshot: Phantom Mansion
| Win | Multiplier |
|---|---|
| Capture the Inquisitor | 350× |
| Top Soul Collector prize | 999× |
| Perfect boss fight (seven Bailiffs at 50×) | 350× |
| All three on one shot in the Secret Altar | 1,699× |
| Biggest single shot in the regular rooms | 1,349× |
Only an Inquisitor capture in the Secret Altar can pay all three wins on one shot. The maximum win is $1,000,000 per bet, which sets the maximum bet at $588.58: the largest stake whose biggest shot still fits under the cap.

- A second win from the Soul Collector, paid on top of the capture

- A top single-shot result of 1,699× and a 97% RTP
Top tips for playing Fearshot: Phantom Mansion
Captures in Fearshot are decided at random, so no aim or strategy guarantees a win. What you control is which ghosts you shoot at and how much you bet per shot.
Higher multipliers mean rarer captures
Low-value ghosts like The Drowned and Goodnight Dolly are captured often. Chef DeVour, the Head Mistress and the Inquisitor are captured far less often. Pick targets that match how much variance you want.
Small captures still fill the jar
Every capture raises the Soul Collector level, so 1.3× and 1.5× captures still move the jar toward its next overflow. Higher-value souls get it there faster.
Keep firing at the Wailing Widow
Hits don't make the Wailing Widow disappear. For the few seconds she's on screen she's the only target, and every hit pays 1.1× and sends a wisp of her soul into the jar.
Expect harder captures in the Secret Altar
Ghosts in the Secret Altar keep the same multipliers but are harder to capture. In exchange, any shot in the Secret Altar, even a miss, can summon Sister Penance.
