How to set a deposit limit

Learn how to set a deposit limit to restrict how much you can deposit over a selected time period.

Updated this week

As part of our responsible gambling tools, you can set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits at any time to control how much you can deposit.

What’s a deposit limit?

Your deposit limit controls how much you can deposit, based on:

  • Deposit limit amount: The maximum amount you can deposit

  • Deposit limit period: The timeframe the limit applies to (daily, weekly, or monthly)

How to set a deposit limit

  1. Once you’re logged in, select your profile icon.

  2. Select Preferences > Responsible gambling.

  3. Next to Deposit limits, select Set up.

  4. Provide the following information:

    • Time period: Choose a period.

    • Amount: Enter a deposit limit amount.

  5. Select Set limit, then select Confirm.

You’ll receive an email confirming your deposit limit.

Your deposit limit takes effect immediately if you didn’t previously set it up. The limit resets at 00:00 based on your account’s local time, depending on the deposit period you chose.

How to remove your deposit limit

  1. Once you’re logged in, select your profile icon.

  2. Select Preferences > Responsible gambling.

  3. Next to Deposit limits, select Edit.

  4. Select Delete.

  5. Select Remove limit.

Removing a deposit limit always requires a 24-hour waiting period. This won’t be bypassed.

How to update your deposit limit

What you can update

You can update both your limit amount and time period. When updating it, the system compares your new settings to your current active limit (not the pending one).

Whether your change applies instantly or after 24 hours depends on whether the new limit is stricter or less strict.

What counts as more strict?

A change is stricter if you lower the limit amount or switch to a shorter time period:

New change

Example

You lower the limit amount

- The current deposit limit: $3,000

- The new deposit limit you want to change to: $1,000

You switch to a shorter time period

- The current deposit limit period: Monthly

- The new deposit limit period: Daily

If both components are the same or stricter, the change takes effect immediately.

What counts as less strict?

A change is less strict if you increase the limit amount or if you switch to a longer time period:

New change

Example

You increase the limit amount

- The current deposit limit: $1,000

- The new deposit limit you want to change to: $3,000

You switch to a longer time period

- The current deposit limit period: Daily

- The new deposit limit period: Monthly

If either the amount or the time period becomes less strict, a 24-hour waiting period applies.

Even if one component becomes stricter, the change is still treated as less strict if the other component becomes less strict. For example, if you’re changing from a daily limit of $3,000 to a monthly limit of $1,000 (because the period becomes longer, i.e., less strict).

Frequently asked questions

Does my $2,200 lifetime deposit limit still apply if I haven't verified my account?

If you haven’t fully verified your account, the $2,200 lifetime deposit limit still applies and overrides any higher or longer-period deposits you set.

Why can’t I remove my deposit limit?

If the delete option is not available, you may already be in a 24-hour waiting period for a deposit limit you previously set up. Wait for the period to end and proceed with the removal.
