As part of our responsible gambling tools, you can set daily, weekly, or monthly wager limits at any time to control how much you can bet. You can set a separate limit for sports and for casino.
What's a wager limit?
Your wager limit controls how much you can bet, based on:
Wager limit amount: The maximum total amount you can wager
Wager limit period: The timeframe the limit applies to (daily, weekly, or monthly)
Sports and casino wager limits work separately. A sports wager limit only applies to your sports bets, and a casino wager limit only applies to your casino bets.
How to set a wager limit
Once you're logged in, select your profile icon.
Select Preferences > Responsible gambling.
Next to Sports wager limit or Casino wager limit, select Set up.
Provide the following information:
Time period: Choose Daily (1 day), Weekly (7 days), or Monthly (30 days).
Amount: Enter a wager limit amount.
Choose a currency.
Select Set limit.
Select Confirm.
Your wager limit takes effect immediately if you didn't previously set one up. Once you reach your limit, you can't place more bets in that category until the limit resets at 00:00 based on your account's local time, depending on the period you chose.

When the wager limit removal takes effect
Removing a wager limit always takes 24 hours. Your limit stays active during this period and is lifted as soon as it ends.
Updating your wager limit
What you can update
You can update both your limit amount and time period. When you update it, the system compares your new settings to your current active limit (not the pending one).
Whether your change applies instantly or after 24 hours depends on whether the new limit is stricter or less strict. Setting a stricter limit while a change or removal is pending replaces it and starts immediately.
What counts as more strict?
A change is stricter if you lower the limit amount or switch to a longer time period:
New change | Example |
You lower the limit amount | - The current wager limit: Daily $300 |
You switch to a longer time period | - The current wager limit: Daily $200 |
You lower the amount and switch to a longer time period | - The current wager limit: Daily $300 |
If both parts are the same or stricter, the change takes effect immediately.
What counts as less strict?
A change is less strict if you increase the limit amount or switch to a shorter time period.
A change still counts as less strict if one part becomes stricter and the other becomes less strict. For example, changing from a daily limit of $1,000 to a monthly limit of $3,000 counts as less strict, because the amount goes up.
New change | Example |
You increase the limit amount | - The current wager limit: Daily $200 |
You switch to a shorter time period | - The current wager limit: Monthly $200 |
You increase the amount and switch to a longer time period | - The current wager limit: Daily $200 |
You lower the amount but switch to a shorter time period | - The current wager limit: Monthly $300 |
You increase the amount and switch to a shorter time period | - The current wager limit: Monthly $200 |
There's a 24-hour waiting period before the new limit is active.

What happens when you reach your wager limit
Sports
"Wager limit exceeded"
Your stake is higher than what's left of your limit. Lower your stake to an amount within your remaining limit so you can place the bet.
"You've reached your wager limit."
You've used up your limit. The Place bet button changes to Wager limit reached, and you can't place the bet. You can place sports bets again once your limit resets.
Casino
"Daily / Weekly / Monthly wager limit reached"
You've used up your casino wager limit, so you can't open casino games. The message shows your limit and when it resets. You can play casino games again once your limit resets.
