Why was only part of my bet accepted?

Find out why your bet may be only partially accepted, even if the maximum displayed on screen looks higher.

Updated over a week ago

Cloudbet supports partial bet placement—a feature that lets part of your bet go through if the full stake isn’t available at the time of confirmation.

If you enable this feature, part of your bet will be placed if the full stake isn’t possible.

Why does this happen?

Here are common reasons your full bet wasn't accepted:

Odds changed before you placed the bet

Your bet is tied to the market odds. As the odds move, the maximum stake can change.

Market movements

When many bets are being placed at once (especially on live events), the available stake can change quickly.

How to turn off partial bet placement

By default, partial bet placement is disabled. To check or update this:

  1. On the sports site, select the bet slip.

  2. Select the preferences icon.

  3. Toggle Partial bet placements off.

Partial bet placement doesn’t work when the market is suspended. Even if the setting is enabled, your bet won’t go through.
