Why do the odds on my placed bet look different?

Odds may shift between selection and placement. By default, your settings reject odds changes.

Updated over a week ago

Odds can change between the time you add a selection to your bet slip and when you confirm the bet. These updates reflect real-time changes in the market or live events.

If you’ve set your preferences to accept odds changes, the bet will go through at the new odds, which may differ from the original odds.

Why odds change

Odds can change within seconds based on:

  • Key moments in the game (like goals, red cards, or penalties)

  • Heavy betting on one side of the market

  • Player injuries or lineup changes

If any of these happen before you confirm your bet, the odds you originally saw may no longer apply.

What this means for your bet

Once your bet is placed, it can’t be canceled. That includes the odds, stake, or selection.

How to reject odds changes

By default, your account is set to reject odds changes. To check or update this:

  1. On the sports site, select your bet slip.

  2. Select the preferences icon.

  3. Make sure Accept odds changes is set to No.

Once done, your bet won’t be processed automatically if the odds change—you'll need to accept the new odds manually.

How to set a limit on odds changes

If you choose to accept odds changes, you can also set how much odds change to allow:

  1. On the sports site, select your bet slip.

  2. Select the preferences icon.

  3. Set Accept odds changes to Yes.

  4. Next to Slippage threshold, select the maximum odds movement you’ll accept.
