Best Ethereum Faucets

If you've been bitten by the crypto bug and see ethereum as the coin to own above all others then ethereum faucets are a great way to get started. Here's Cloudbet's review of the best ethereum faucets.

The crypto faucet industry has come a long way since bitcoin developer Gavin Andresen first “turned on the tap” in 2010. Needless to say the early faucets dispensed BTC, but as the cryptoconomy has evolved, a huge number of new faucets have entered the market, with some dedicated to altcoins and others offering payouts in multiple currencies.

At present, the following ethereum faucets offer the best prospect of those looking to earn ETH fuss-free.

Faucetcrypto

One of the best-known and best-loved ethereum faucets is Faucetcrypto. There are a few reasons for this. For starters, there’s no withdrawal fee and a low minimum withdrawal of 0.00012 ETH.

The interface is also very user-friendly, with users able to choose between shortlinks, “achievements” and ads; you can also earn 25% on referrals. Over 200 people have reviewed Faucetcrypto on Trustpilot, with 84% rating it excellent, 10% great and only 2% bad, at the time of writing. One negative is that the faucet timer is set at 40 minutes.

LuckyFish

LuckyFish has an “Excellent” rating on Trustpilot, which is pretty rare for crypto faucets. That said, the platform is a crypto casino as well as faucet, so not all of the user reviews relate to what we are talking about here.

There is no timer, so you can play games to your heart’s content and receive ETH for the pleasure. On the downside, the platform offers no referral percentage whatsoever. LuckyFish’s minimum withdrawal is 0.03 ETH, with a minimum withdrawal of 0.00021 ETH.

FireFaucet

FireFaucet is another good way to earn ETH. A multi-currency faucet that dispenses payouts in nine different cryptos, paying direct to users’ wallets, FireFaucet offers surveys, offer walls, videos and ads, with rates increasing as users level up with regular play.

Refreshingly, FireFaucet commits to showing only non-intrusive ads – so you don’t have to worry about annoying popups blighting your browsing experience. The faucet referral is a little lower than Faucetcrypto at 20%, and the minimum withdrawal is also higher at 0.004 ETH – but crucially, there are no withdrawal fees. FireFaucet has been online for a few years now and has over 300,000 registered users.

ESFaucet

ESFaucet purports to be interested in getting more cryptocurrencies out there and increasing the crypto user base. As such, they offer payouts in 13 different currencies including ETH, DOGE, BAT, XRP and BTC.

The faucet timer is set to just five minutes, with the referral percentage an industry-standard 20%. The minimum withdrawal, meanwhile, is 0.05015 ETH and the withdrawal fee a modest 0.00015 ETH. ESFaucet is a popular option, with around 120,000 registered users and almost 50 million claims made to date. Daily bonuses include an extra bonus for those collecting ES COIN.

Allcoins

As should be obvious from the name, the Allcoins crypto faucet is not ethereum-specific; but ETH is one of the supported currencies. With this one, users are given the option of solving captchas or other media, playing games or even directly mining for ETH – which frankly is about as profitable as picking your nose.

The timer for completing media is set to five minutes and users can earn a generous 25% lifetime referral by compelling other people onto the site. As far as minimum withdrawal is concerned, it’s 0.0036 ETH, and there’s a withdrawal fee of 0.0012.

Ethereum Faucet

The owners of Ethereum Faucet didn’t waste time coming up with an inventive name – but it does exactly what it says on the tin. This one couldn’t be simpler, as all you need to do is solve the captcha. Of course, that means less ad revenue for the owners, so the payouts are pretty modest.

Minimum withdrawals are 0.0025 ETH and payouts are made every hour, apportioned as follows: 1,000 gwei (30%) 2,300 gwei (65%) 5,000 gwei (3%) 10,000 gwei (1.9%) 90,000 gwei (0.099%) 9,000,000 gwei (0.001%). Users should be aware that if they don’t make a claim within 30 days, their account will be deemed inactive and their non-withdrawn balance forfeited.

Trustdice

Trustdice is an online crypto casino and multi-currency faucet. As with other faucets on this list, there are pros and cons to be aware of. One of the major incentives is an almost unheard-of referral commission of 50%. You can also sign up without entering an email.

On the other hand, the timer is set to six hours (advanced players, as determined by the site’s Satoshi Club rank, can claim more often). As for general info, the withdrawal fee is a low 0.00021 ETH, with minimum withdrawal set at 0.01 ETH.

Althub

Althub is a multi-coin faucet that offers several ways to earn crypto, including ETH. Here’s what you need to know: users are entitled to a 20% affiliate rate for referring friends and family onto the platform, and payments are direct, with the timer set to five minutes.

Unlike many alternative ethereum faucets, Althub doesn’t take a withdrawal fee when you pull crypto off the platform, although the minimum withdrawal is set to 0.00005 ETH.

Dutchy CORP

As well as offering a lifetime referral commission of 20%, Dutchy CORP – which has been in existence for just over a year at the time of writing – allows users to earn ether by solving captchas or playing a range of simple gambling-style games. Up to 40 claims can be made every day, with players able to accrue anywhere between 900 and 1,800 gwei. In addition to ether, DUTCHY Corp supports 27 separate cryptocurrencies and boasts a user base of over 25,000.

Crypto Mining Game

With Crypto Mining Game, you can “play as a cryptocurrency miner in an original crypto-universe”! Although the referral commission is a modest 8%, this multi-currency faucet offers a more enjoyable way to earn ether than others on this list. This nifty video gives a good idea of what the game’s all about.
